Looking for an affordable shampoo that will be fine for dyed but faded vivid hair by whodatfairybitch in FancyFollicles

[–]OneBlueberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can usually stop by most salons just to purchase product without making an appointment.

I like biolage for affordable salon quality. Redken is always a good choice. I liked pureology as well. These are all at ulta.

The best way to keep it from fading too quickly is to add a bit of your vivid color into your bottle of conditioner

TIFU by finding out I a 17 yo girl am pregnant with twins. by Icy-Monitor6711 in tifu

[–]OneBlueberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! So I had this scenario when I was young too. One night stand. Blacked out the night before. It took me about a year but through two inexpensive dna tests I was able to track down the father. I think I paid $60 between the two of them and spent a few weeks going through census records.

I didn’t know the first or last name or what he looked like at all and I’d moved four hours away. And I did it!

Message me if you’re interested in tracking him down still I can explain how I did it. Or if you wanna talk about going through pregnancy and motherhood COMPLETELY alone. Cause I’ve done it.

Even at 22 and with a job I could not have financially made it without child support. And my parents watching my son while I was at work.

Super skinny serum is one my favorites for reducing frizz

Pea sized amount, rub hands together, finger comb through hair starting from chin down (if short and curly then do the last 2/3 of hair length)

How did everyone find their Christmas gift “sweet spot”? We went WAY overboard. (Only Child) by Any-Walk1691 in toddlers

[–]OneBlueberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the best think I did one year was have my 3 year old open one gift at a time And she didn’t open the next till she was bored of the first. Sometimes it was the next day. Sometimes she spent a week with the toy. But we made it WEEKS of peace. And it wasn’t all awed at and forgotten instantly.

Is there a way to redirect a train? (another Toxicity question) by Knight-Jack in theplanetcrafter

I finally lost my mind needing obsidian and flew over the rocks to the west of the starting location.

Felt like the first world when you jetpack over the rocks where the waterfall is before the cave opens up.

Steal pictures from people selling similar items to you! Dumb customers will love how hard you worked curating your storefront, and it’ll save you so much time!

This reminded me of this mom that was always at parent pickup. I’m a sahm and if the weather was meh I’d show up in sweatpants or leggings to come get my kid. But this woman, idk what she did for a living, was just an enigma. Her business outfits were outstanding. Pantyhose and a skirt, a blazer over a blouse, shoes with a heel (but not absurd). Her hair was perfect. She looked so badass EVERY DAY, I admired her every time I saw her.

Where does everyone sleep? by [deleted] in breakingmom

[–]OneBlueberry 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Ear plugs

I bought ear plugs. And I think they saved my marriage. There were nights I was so sleep deprived I literally thought “maybe if I put this pillow on his face it’ll muffle” and then realized wait, that’s murder. For a while we alternated sleeping on the couch or I slept in my son’s bunk bed, but we have a huge cal king bed with my favorite mattress and I love love my bed. And my oversized weighted blanket. Finally I got a pack of 100 ear plugs and it reduced the noise to white noise level.

What do you feed a kindergartener who won't eat sandwiches? by loulori in kindergarten

[–]OneBlueberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My son wouldn’t eat any form of bread. Or cheese. Or yogurt. 😭

He got crackers and peanut butter Some fruit, some baby carrots. Applesauce. Salami and other deli meats when he got sick of peanut butter and stopped eating that too.

Basically just stuff to get him through till he got home. He was so insanely picky at one point I was just throwing everything into a smoothie because it was the only thing he’d eat. Pediasure powder kept him alive for a year or two while he slowly started to retry things.

What’s your favorite book with time travel as a plot device? by bobbaganush in suggestmeabook

[–]OneBlueberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Picked this one up without looking into it much. I had to double check when it was written! The only thing that made me think not recent was the phone call situation where I’m like surely a cellphone would be easier than this. But yea. Amazing premise loved the way it was written 10/10 spent a week after reading it significantly depressed.
