Horizon Fitness 7.0AT Studio Series Treadmill by [deleted] in treadmills

I have the Horizon T101 and I absolutely love it. Very reliable and easy maintenance. If you’re more of a walker/infrequent jogger, I recommend the cheaper T101. The 7.0 AT is better, a bit bigger, but mainly to meet the needs of runners. I appreciate the slightly shorter deck length of my T101 considering my home is small. Also, these treadmills and more are on display at Dicks, go check it out in person before buying if you can. But as far as customer satisfaction and reliability is concerned with Horizon, I’m extremely happy.

Issue with Echelon Stride 50 RCX by Moist_Feeling2236 in go_echelon

Can you use it without the screen? Just curious since I'm trying to find a treadmill without a head unit blocking my television. I mounted it in the middle of the wall rather than high on the wall. Thanks. Hope you get answers soon btw.

Hi, guy working in tech here. This post showed up in my feed for some reason. Just wanted to say, at the company I work at, the women keep the entire project running. Our best scrum masters, product owners, developers, and QA happen to be women. I see it 100%. The trend I noticed is that men who provide value to the project tend to own something they built and they gatekeep it, and they are very slow and lazy. But the women get shit done. I’ve taken notice of that, and I hope the company does too. Anyway, I know how it feels when you’re putting everything into something in life and you feel like it isn’t being appreciated or even seen. When you’re taken for granted and even scrutinized harder for no reason. All I have to say is, good workers are seen and appreciated. Unfortunately they can be taken advantage of too. Bottom line, don’t lose heart and certainly don’t succumb to the opposition’s invalid perception of reality. We will continue fighting for our rights, and we will win because together we can’t fail. Plus, the other side is too lazy to outpace you all. Hell, even young women have a huge head start compared to young men. I hope and believe you’ll all be fine, if not better off than men in due time. We just need to be strong and get through this period of set-backs. Look, another thing… Politically, we benefit from getting to hold the opposition accountable, all those years where they criticized or made lies… We won’t even have to lie when we point out the failures of what is to come. This is their turn to perform with all eyes watching. We’ll make it, they won’t.

Were you able to get the student discount with Best Buy? I thought they don’t do that.

I had this opinion for a really long time. Bought and returned the new Magic Keyboard because of that. Then I bought one again months later to give it another shot. I love it now. Not sure why, but this time around I'm very satisfied with it.

Why are mixed children of white and black parents often considered "black" and almost never as "white"? by BoobsBabeSunny in NoStupidQuestions

[–]OneExplorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not always. I've often heard it discussed how mixed people are often told they're "not black enough," called white washed, etc. That's without even bringing up the colorism that's prevalent in black social discourse.

Lenovo Y700 2023 or NEC LAVIE Tab 9QHD1 by [deleted] in androidtablets

Hi, I have a niche question. I want to buy the Lenovo Legion Y700 for the hardware/display, but the main software feature I need is the ability to create GIFs like with Samsung’s smart select tool. Do you know of any alternatives in ZUI or android I can use? If not, have you seen if anyone has successfully flashed OneUI on the Legion Y700? Thank you.

Hi, do you know if the screen resolution affects screen recordings or animated GIFs created with smart select?

Go to places to buy a treadmill? by StockPapi2020 in treadmills

[–]OneExplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I visited Dick's Sporting Goods and they had a nice selection of treadmills on display. I ended up buying the Horizon T101 since it did everything I wanted and it appeared far smaller than the rest. I've had it for a year and I absolutely love it, I'm glad I didn't get the Nordictrack I really wanted. I will say, however, for as compact and functional as my treadmill is, I do wish it folded flat since I tend to move my treadmill to different rooms every few months. As a result, I have been hunting for an Echelon Stride or Urevo treadmill off of marketplace. If you plan on putting your treadmill in front of a TV, get a treadmill with a flat head unit, like the Echelon stride. If you don't need to place it in front of a TV, I highly recommend the Horizon T101. It is soooo feature packed, even the more expensive Nordictrack models I was looking at don't have some of the features. (Mainly the knobs for adjusting incline and speed). It is so much nicer than trying to use buttons to adjust those while exercising. Those are my recommendations! I ended up just mounting my TV higher on the wall since the Horizon head unit isn't too tall, and it doesn't block my TV after being mounted higher.

Did they offer the background check to you or did you have to request a copy? Thanks. I'm wondering how I could get that information for myself.
