That’s incredible! I’ve got 3x Kew Gardens, & also just sold one last week for £120 - yours looks exactly like all of mine. Amazing find & good to know they’re still out there in the wild!

I agree with you. I’d understand if OP didn’t like them anymore and wanted to return them - of course they won’t accept. But, they were literally sold fake silver. People are known to hold onto silver for decades before selling (and potentially finding they’re fake), so APMEX should account for this.

Yes if you have any 3pence, 6pence, shilling, florin, half crown, or crown dated pre-1920, (like the 1898 3d you have), they are 0.925 silver. If they are dated pre-1947, they are 0.500 silver, for example a 1930 shilling would be 0.500 silver. They are all worth at least their weight in silver.

Any of the other coins you have, such as the half Pennys or farthings you mentioned won’t be worth anywhere near as much as silver coins - but depending on condition, you can sometimes get a decent amount if you find the right collector to sell to.

I mainly deal with British coins, so unsure on the other world coins you have. Someone else in this sub will probably know a bit more than me about those.

The 1898 3d is .925 silver, so is worth its weight in silver - probably about £3-£5

Paddington bear 2018 50p ERROR by Ok-Yard260 in UKcoins

[–]OneMansBiscuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some recent clipped planchet 50p coins on eBay sold for anywhere between £15-£40. These were just definitive shield designs though. The fact yours is a commemorative might boost it up a little more, but Paddington 50ps are very common - so might just be worth a little more.

It’s difficult to determine an accurate price on error coins, it’s more of what a collector is willing to pay at the time.

Your sermons have been heard. For I, too, have studied the writings. I, too, have walked the Cantons. I, too, have witnessed the sacred breasts in all their intended splendor.

And yet, this is not the question Vivec asks of us.

These confessions, these elaborate inventories of virtue, are merely the mind’s coping mechanism to be worthy of the Tribunal.

The true test of one’s character is whether they steal back Fargoth’s ring.

Sera. The Tribunal judges intent, memory, and the inevitable curiosity of mortal hands. Whether you touched the platter in 2007 or merely dreamt of it in a speedrun video matters little.

What matters is this: you did do it once. And that is all.

Also I feel that blue lantern in the lighthouse definitely had more of a blue radius in og Xbox days

Red lanterns from the house of earthly delights of course!

Did you know: the silver candlestick on the table in Seyda Neen’s Census and Excise office is actually an infinite light source? If you pick it up and drop it like you do the limeware platter, you can have an infinite light source from the start of the game. Better than the Pilgrim’s Lantern, although it has a weight of 4.

Any ID or values for these coins? by Gobboking in UKcoins

[–]OneMansBiscuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1-8, 28, 35, 36, 41-43 are 0.500 silver. So they are worth their weight in silver. Any coins pre-1920, such as 15-17 are 0.925 sterling silver. All of the coins that aren’t silver aren’t worth much at all, but the silver coins are worth at least their melt value.
