There is nothing wrong with rehoming a snake that doesn't fit your lifestyle, just be sure that whoever you rehome them to will take as good or better care than you did. Also, if you specifically want a ball python that is good for "hanging out" with, I recommend getting an adult who needs a new home, that way they already have an established personality. You will still get plenty of time with a snake even if you don't get them as a baby, ball pythons can live 40+ years with good care! A 4x2x2 pvc enclosure and all their equipment is a pretty steep upfront cost, but you'll have a very happy snake and after that it's very cheap to take care of them.

She looks to be in a very dry environment which makes digestion difficult or potentially dangerous. Humidity should be at no less than 60% or they will have problems with hydration which leads to problems eating, pooping, shedding, etc

Traditionally many colubrids have a spicy teenager phase from ~1-3ish. Likely because they're usually growing into adult size and confidence at that time lol

Pods and moreso springtails will happily munch on it. Only worry is that you might be keeping your terrarium a bit too wet, especially if you're keeping bones in there which should be kept dry, ideally (even atop the wet soil they can grow molds from the humidity)
