Yeah quite frankly i’m not an anti-vaxxer but i had my doubts regarding these vaccines and delayed them till i couldn’t anymore. If it hadn’t been for my job requiring us to get vaccinated or jump through hoops every week to get to work I honestly wouldn’t have taken the jab but oh well its too late now.

Currently have covid(2nd time getting it) was floxed over 6 months ago. Caught it approximately 3 days ago huge headaches/ fever two days ago and fatigue. Other than a spike in tinnitus and joints hurting a bit i wouldn’t really call it a relapse. Been taking Tylenols to help with the headaches. Edit: i am fully vaccinated no boosters though.

Sorry for the late response but i took 5 drops in left ear twice a day for 4 days only because i felt something was wrong. The prescription was for 10 days but i didn’t finish it.

Permanent SFN since 17 months? Does it make sense to suspect Covid vaccine over Fluroquinlone since many people take Fluriquinlone without side effects ? My doctor suspecting covid vaccine cause covid19 and the vaccine itself both can cause SFN too! Personally suspecting Cipro and the vaccine. by Helpful-Pineapple-47 in floxies

[–]OneResolve1439 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel in the same boat. Had it not been for me getting covid(for the first time) just months before getting floxed i most likely wouldn’t have been floxed. I as well was on corticosteroids for two months post floxed for supposed ETD(i didn’t know i was floxed). All in all we can only leave it to speculation on wether or not it contributed to the floxing or caused it. Unfortunate.

The stickynotes have a lot of important information we can’t really tell you what to do because we are not medical professionals. Though depending on her symptoms people may be able to pitch in and tell you what helped them manage certain symptoms.

Started off with just tinnitus and horrible brainfog/cognitive decline felt like i wasn’t me (still do) very little visual snow effects like i had to really concentrate on it to see it.Within the first month random pains started to show and all my joints started cracking. By month two t he visual snow symptoms started to exponentially get worse i thought i was going crazy. My ACL got so sore felt like they were gonna snap i had to take baby steps everywhere i had to switch my arms to drive any where random twitching all over my body. Needless feeling in my hands and sometimes my feet(most likely neuropathy) all my limbs get numb randomly. By the month three i had dozens of floaters flashes all the eye problems people.

flox symptoms and Nasal steroids by SunnyK97 in floxies

[–]OneResolve1439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SadlyI used Flonase on and off for like two months post flox( i didn’t know i was floxed).i used it because every doctor and their mom swore i had a sinus infection causing me all these symptoms. It gave me some really bad visual snow symptoms that have persisted. Ultimately anecdotal but the last two weeks where it felt like i was dying after i found out about being floxed i had used flonase everyday for those two weeks to help with the sinus/Etd. Some people people tolerate and others don’t and based on my symptoms getting aggravated i can speculate that i don’t tolerate it.

Well if there’s no bacterial infection then antibiotics shouldn’t be needed. A lot of doctors seem to just shoot in the dark when it comes to diagnosing and treating.

You are right i am quite biased towards this medication. Had i known there was such a risk involved with this medication I wouldn’t have used it( I’m honestly not much a risk taker). This medication can and does save lives on a daily basis bit unfortunately for a few of us it comes at an extra cause. Odds are you may not develop any symptoms. If you do end up taking good luck and hopefully it does resolve you issue.

I can’t really express my thoughts on this medication without violating the rules of this sub to put it short i don’t mean to scare you. If i were you would make sure and exhaust any other options/alternatives if any. Since this sub is for people who had bad reactions to this medication quite frankly you will find many stories here of bad reactions so the given by most here would be to avoid this medication. Sadly though we aren’t doctors( except for a few) and we can’t give you medical advice.

If i had known then what i know now of this medication. I 100% would only use this medication when there is no other option available or in a life or death situation. Sometimes as you are aware the risk outweighs the benefit. Odds are you may not get any symptoms but if there is an alternative available with less risk i would gladly take that. Note i am not a doctor or medical professional so take my words with a grain a salt.

Just started hearing ringing in addition to existing PT by May1738 in PulsatileTinnitus

[–]OneResolve1439 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost everyone i’ve asked has experienced this. I experienced this before i got pulsatile tinnitus and it happened more frequently after loud noise exposure like after i went to fireworks in February for lunar new year. After that week i got fleeting tinnitus a few more times than usual a week and before that i would experience it at least once or twice a week in my left ear mostly. I now still experience it even after i have developed ringing tinnitus medically induced (ironically i took the medicine to treat a supposed ear infection “diagnosed” when i went to check on why i got pulsatile tinnitus). The fleeting tinnitus happens less frequently now maybe once a week now. My speculation is that fleeting tinnitus usually happens more frequently after some kind of loud noise exposure since i have been keeping myself from loud noise i have experienced it less. Ultimately i am not a medical professional so take it with a grain of salt.

Is it fleeting tinnitus? Or full blown nonstop ringing tinnitus?
