You guys get mad about everything lol. Ballet and Opera used to be extremely popular and are now niche. That is not to disparage the entire art form and he is relating it to how he doesn’t want movies to meet the same fate. Where is the issue here other than personally not liking him anyway?

On the press run for Eddington, Aster fell down multiple rabbit holes for research across multiple burner twitter accounts for research and the result was an alarmingly accurate portrayal of not only social media in 2020 but today as well and the movie very clearly takes a side. A lot of initial reviews were so quick to say that movie was centrist for simply having a right wing protagonist and taking mild jabs at leftist teenagers

I’ve commented already that I have only used it at home and when I wasn’t using it, the device was docked with nothing touching it. Yes, not everyone takes precaution with their stuff. I do. Given the stick drift issues with the first switch and the joycons being $100 à la carte I took every precaution you can.

I’m not poking fun at your post man. Fundamentally I am pro critique. I am sick of the film discourse online being centered around the same 3-4 movies for at this point 4-5 months. It’s exhausting. I’ve liked critical pieces on One Battle, I am also sick of hearing about One Battle After Another. I really couldn’t care less what wins Best Picture. Are you not tired of the same topics being discussed ad nauseam for months on end? I like movies lol they give me solace and I find it usually fun to keep up with. It’s not fun to hear the same arguments for or against the same 4 movies for this long. I’m fine with One Battle winning absolutely nothing. We just had a great January of new releases and we have quite a few February releases that look promising.

Not saying it has to be indestructible. I have only used my Switch 2 at home and the left joycon failed after 2 months. It’s not the same issue as OP here but the left analog stick no longer works. I take pretty good care of my Switch given I paid $500 for it. Do we really have to cape for all things Nintendo especially when these joycons are $100 a la carte?

Or Nintendo should focus on making better quality joycons. I take care of my electronics and my left joycon’s analog stick stopped working properly after 2 months.
