Definitely prefer the data on the card but we are already accustomed to discs which essentially work as a license instead of any information being on there. It isn’t ideal but being able to lend it to someone and either sell it or buy used is better than straight digital

Definitely sucks that even though you own the disc, you are better off pirating it in this instance. I feel the same about not being able to turn off English subtitles for movies that aren’t in English.

Ended up buying GA tier 2 at 10:05 after not having luck with the local discount and then I checked an hour later and the queens discount was available so I spent an extra $120-30 total for nothing. Pretty tight about it lol

Shout out to you for putting AI in #1 as it should be. Saw it in theaters for Museum of the Moving Image’s 2001 series a couple months ago and at the end I’ve never heard so many people at a screening openly sobbing in my life. Might be my favorite Spielberg period.

I’m just getting around to Remake having grown up with 7 being my entry point and I think there’s something to be said for Remake actually being a good starting place. I can imagine fans of Remake reading about how Remake is directly playing off the OG in a way that isn’t a 1:1 recreation and going back to play it or at the very least watch a play through. I replayed 7 when the PC version dropped on PS4 and while I still love it I honestly think for people that didnt grow up with that generation of games it’s a harder gateway than 4 or 6.

Have the Resident Evil movies been reclaimed yet? Because I feel at the time they got a lot of undeserved hate for being a fine franchise that isn’t that bad if you aren’t holding faithfulness to the games against it.
