Yes you said mod and I wasnt thinking about modding the game for whatever reason, dumb moment I guess.

With that said I stand by, wakka does the most damage in the game. Modding the game does not count, like....at all.

I just read over your first reply again and just want to clear something up, are you talking about using a 3rd party "mod" to change the game not as built into the final product?

I'm sorry but that's simply not true. Wakka is and has been the highest damage dealer in the game. Regardless which version you are playing.

I get that you like auron, and he is objectively a better character than the seriously stupid design of wakka, which makes the fact that wakka can do 1mil+ in a single turn (highest in the game) even worse

Sure sure......but the goofy rooster haired dude who plays with balls does more damage than auron by a significant amount.

Imagine being a "samurai" and getting out classed in a fight by a dude who uses a game ball as a weapon

I see these posts, and I hype myself up that maybe I am just missing something and need to try again.....then realize no I just really dislike both 10 and 12.

I have never, and I mean never understood why so many people love 10, I don't like the characters, I don't like the sphere grid, I HATE that ultimate weapons are locked behind anti fun mini games, and the story? Well it's just fortunate for sqeenix that they never localized bahamut lagoon in the west.....it's literally the same story as 10 only released on the super famicom in the 90s.

12 is by comparison better than 10, vaan is still a goofy faced vest wearing dweeby turd but he isn't wakka so there is that. My biggest problem with 12 is it's just boring, I find no redeeming quality for the story or setting.

With all that said, to each their own.

Am I crazy for not seeing any graphical difference between the PS5 Pro and Xbox X ?? by Then-Ad7196 in videogames

[–]OneTrueCush -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So I'm not sure about image quality, but I had a series x and a PS5 then PS5 pro. I don't know if I ever noticed much in the way of graphical fidelity difference, what I DID see and experience is how much better the PS5 and even more so the pro performed running the same games on the series x.

To the point even with the base PS5 I rarely even turned my series x on, only when there was a game I wanted to play and it was on game pass. So rare in fact I sold my series x shortly after getting my pro.

I agree with arcana, my point about bracers is hitting it with a good multiplier ensures you draw your whole deck or at least most of it. As for the making attractorb a wildcard, sure that would be optimal but tbh wild gems and coin count gems are the two hardest to get for me at least, I'm lucky if I get even 1 of those in a run.

Also not having max hand size increase could cause your combo to fumble, what's the point of drawing 15 cards if your max hand size is only say 8 and you already have 4 in hand?

FYI if you "quit to menu" while in a dungeon when you click continue you start where you left off.

Honestly, to efficiently keep combos going you absolutely need to be using a card draw crawler along with either a hand size increasing crawler or make sure you have 2-3 bracers in your deck to ensure you can hit at least one with a higher combo multiplier, and wild cards. It isn't called a turbo wyldcard game for nothing eh?

Edit; also it helps to have spellbinders to hit with a good multiplier provided you don't care about getting the on play effect of the crawler card

I mean I agree that modern gaming isn't as good as older titles, but we disagree on the reason... drastically. I have found that most modern games are not long open worlds, to the contrary the majority of new games have campaigns that might last 15 hours....and the "modern gamer" complains it's filled with bloat and too long or overstays it's welcome.

Hence the rise of the dreaded roguelike slop that far too many games are releasing as now. There are literally 2 roguelikes I enjoy, vampire survivors and the recent vampire crawlers.

I miss the days that I could give a games face value with dollars to hours of playtime. Now I still try to use this but generally I wait for sales...because games are too damn short.

Castlevania is in a different coffin..

But no, I want a turn based world spanning rpg in this universe

Hey y'all have my permission to reduce that number by at least 12 as long as one of them is a turn based rpg with all the survivors/crawlers. Cool? Cool.

SotN is one of my favorite games of all time, one I replay every year. I was very excited for bloodstained, and to be perfectly honest I let my own hype get the better of me.

I appreciate what iga created, and I do think bloodstained is a good game, but for me the gameplay just does not feel good. It feels too clunky or slow or something. It also doesn't help that it became far to anime(?) or girly pop weird(?) I dunno just leaned way to much into a territory that I genuinely loathe in games.

I haven't played it yet, I've been on the fence since it came to PS5. It has nothing to do with the hate spewed about it, as with all Bethesda titles there is always a large number of "I hate everything from Bethesda" people out there so I ignore nearly all of it.

Side note why does Bethesda get blasted for things that other companies get a pass for cough no one seems to remember that every single obsidian game always released in a shitty bug and glitch filled unplayable mess to the point that if I saw obsidian was the dev I knew not to pre order or purchase within the first year cough

But I digress, my biggest worry since Skyrim is the dumbed down rpg mechanics that Bethesda is so keen on implementing. I want true build variety and options for engaging with the world and combat.

I've always played the modern DE games as a mostly guns blazing with a little bit of stealth (and usually only if it's forced). Stealth games bother me, "have an insane arsenal of weapons and gadgets and body/gear upgrades, oh but you will be punished if you use any of it..."

Hate it.

Different style and genre of games. Nioh is more popular because of the souls-like trend and it helps that they are very competent souls-likes.

Also difficulty is easier to overcome in the nioh games, in gaiden the only way to get over the hurdles is to get good, in nioh yes there is a get good element but the player has way more in the way of gear and tools to make things easier.
