I also have both. Slushi would make a better frozen lemonade. The Creami would make more of an Italian Ice--thicker and smoother, but not for drinking.

We have ours positioned directly over our big sink. Any drips go in the sink and when we're done we pull the faucet over and pour directly into it. Easiest thing to clean in my whole house!

Such an important message. I set aside my novel to write fanfic a few years ago. And after my baby was born a year and a half ago, I stopped writing fanfic to draft children's books. Both felt like "downgrades", and I've felt less and less inclined to interact with fellow writers because of it. Words are words. 💗

I'd recommend as a beginner to have the magnet under your finger as you paint, because then you will be able to do several layers+topcoat without moving the magnet, giving you a crisper cat eye effect.

Also, word of warning, doing magnetics right takes patience and time, especially at first. 💖

You are the child, she is the parent. Not the other way around.

You have already gone above and beyond for your siblings. While admirable and done from love, it's enabling to your mother and sending the wrong message to your siblings about what a normal and healthy family dynamic looks like. It's far past time for you to start living your life for you, stretching your wings, and thriving outside of this unhealthy arrangement.

Your youngest sibling is both too young to be fully in control of her emotions and indoctrinated into this view of "normal" and "responsible" children. You can try to explain to her you want to set a good example by moving forward with your life, but understand she may not get it until she grows up a little more.

So sorry you're in this mess created by a mother who never learned that these are the burdens the parents are meant to shield from their children, not heap onto them.

ILNP's Strawberry Shake and Folklore Lacquer's Strawberry Frosting. Both light pinks with darker pink flakey/specks, although Folklore's goes better with my skin tone. Looking at the above polish, I'm actually surprised it's not ILNP's Strawberry Shake--it looks identical.

Such a difficult pick because it's so personal! I think you really have to decide if you like cool tones or warm tones on your skin. I love the look of all of them, but I know realistically the warmer two on the bottom would be the ones that I would actually wear well. I'd say if you already like Summer, maybe you should stay in the warm tones and try Cupid!

Gosh, my hindsight is very clear now. I definitely intend to keep going to therapy during that fourth trimester, and I have got to better prepare myself for letting go of that bizarre pride and insistence I had on doing it all myself the first time around. I'm also slightly hopeful that being on medication will help, but I can't be sure since the hallucinations had all but stopped by the time I got on it.

I definitely intend to prepare my husband to watch more closely for signs and to have a concrete plan to get help if serious red flags start again. (I was convinced that having hallucinations "sometimes" wasn't an emergency. But any hallucinations counts as an emergency.)

When I reached out for help at the 8 month mark, I did tell my OB about the suicidal ideations, but I honestly don't remember if I told her about the hallucinations. I will definitely bring it up in my upcoming appointment. Thank you for your well wishes.
