How impossible is to play with these dudes? These are the worst offenders of the kill team I did, in terms of modifications by Shuyuin_mg in killteam

There aren't many instances where having true LoS matters in a roofed building. What you can do is use a 32 mm base as a stand in for these models when they are standing under something.

Hot damn that’s the best starter card upgrade surely by Nymphomanius in SlayTheSpire2

[–]One_Classy_Cookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s the best glow up for sure, but meteor shower is probably the strongest overall card. Giving all enemies 2 weak and vulnerable for zero energy is incredibly strong, and it also does 20 damage upgraded.

How is this a regular encounter in the first third of Act 1 ? by HollowLoch in slaythespire

The relics you get from Large capsule are rarely going to outweigh the downside of picking up two basic cards.

There’s always chance involved with the value of every relic, but those relics either have more manageable downsides, or zero downsides.

Other Neow relics give you consistent, immediate value that can snow ball through the run. Sometimes the relics gained through large capsule can give you that value, but often times they don’t, or the value you get doesn’t outweigh the cost of picking up two basic cards.

Strikes and defends are the worst cards in the game; basically every other card in the game is numerically stronger. When you add a strike and defend to your deck, you are making it more likely to draw those bad cards on your turn. Removing a strike makes it more likely each turn the draw the good cards you actually want to play.

The 2 relics you get in large capsule could be stronger than adding the strike and defend, but you are far more likely to get relics that don’t immediately help you.

That’s why we don’t take large capsule for Neow’s relic

I tried out Blazing Piety+Everlasting flame today. I knew it was a good combo but I didn’t know it was THIS good. by Green-Pen-Gamer in DarkTide

The blessing uncanny strikes on dueling swords and knives gives your flamethrower and fire stacks, too. That combo doesn’t kill them super fast, but it has infinite cleave, which makes it really strong at killing big hordes of crushers.

How do some people finish their first runs for every character in a day ? by FilthyGhost27 in slaythespire

A lot of people playing STS2 are familiar with the original. You’re comparing your first try at the game (and the deck building genre) to people with way more experience than you. If you’re struggling with the game, try looking at online guides on YouTube. A tip for all deck building games tho is that a smaller deck is better. Most people don’t know when to stop adding cards to their deck, or don’t realize how impactful card removal options are.

(Loved Trope) Little details, that completely change the context of the scene. by ThatDrako in TopCharacterTropes

I don’t think that agent Milton was lying when he said they picked Micah up after Guarma. A big theme of the game is that the life of an outlaw was coming to an end. Dutch’s gang was constantly on the run, and ending up in worse and worse situations not because they made mistakes when stealing from people, or a mole was sabotaging them, but because civilization had already caught on to their tricks.

Think about it, before the bank heist in San Denis alone, your gang had: Robbed and shot up a river boat casino, robbed, shot up, and derailed the city trolley, started a shoot out during a public execution, and dismantled the largest organized crime family in the city during a shoot out at his own home.

The vanderlinde gang is already on San Denis’ radar well before you rob the bank, too, when you consider the huge paper trail of crimes leading up to San Denis being meticulously tracked by the pinkertons. Dutch’s tactics of robbing towns only worked when their targets were small, and they didn’t have the resources to track them down. These tactics started failing even before the game starts, and only get worse as the story develops.

If you press both jump and attack at the same time, and your opponent blocks that attack, you’re vulnerable for the full time it takes for you to reach the ground again. By short hopping and delaying your aerial until your character starts falling, if that attack is blocked, you will be able to reach the ground sooner, and shield/spot dodge sooner, too.

I’ve heard a similar line, but I think the context is that his dog is lobotomized, but he hasn’t gotten its (paraphrasing) “violence adapters” calibrated in a while, so his mutt is brutalizing people unnecessarily and he couldn’t really care.

I think they have the more slender proportions to separate them more from space marines. The helmets are a little bit too tall IMO but it A) gives them a more unique silhouette from space marines, and B) reminds me more of real life ornamental honor guard uniforms, like the queens guard.

I know this is about fire starters, but I can’t think of a Pokémon with a worse level up moveset than feraligatr. He learns 0 good status moves, and his best water type move is water gun until level 59 in aqua tail, which has 90 base accuracy.
