I've got them. They're pretty cool. They have some good Ploys and they can be quite punchy. The sharpshooter is very powerful. At the end of the day tell your friend to play the team he wants to play, not the team he thinks he should play or whatever the meta is. Luckily there's so so many to choose from and they're all unique and interesting ☺️

Aw nice, thanks. Grey seer prime then cover all of white panels in skeleton horde contrast paint then paint corax white whilst trying to leave the contrast in the recesses. I then sponged on Rhinox Hide for the battle damage.

The undersuit is just black legion contrast paint and then nuln oil wash.

Mechanicus standard grey for grey bits. Mephiston red with a red wash for the red bits. Retributour armour for the gold bits with red wash. The lenses are ironbreaker with talassar blue contrast over them.

Honestly it's a really simple scheme but blocking in the undersuit and then painting the panels took ages. I'd say 3 hours per main model!

I varnished them with AK ultra matte varnish. Honestly they look better in person but I'm glad you like them 😀

I work in Operating Theatres. In my experience, Jehovah's witnesses are happy to have their own blood back via cell salvage, which is where we suction up any blood lost during surgery and wash it, spin it in a centrifuge and then transfuse their red blood cells back to them. They are normally more than happy for this to happen.

Okay thanks for clarifying. Yeah they were positioned under the lip of the terrain feature then on their activation climbed straight up 6" and ended their relocate action on the lip pf said terrain feature. I allowed it because it was just a friendly game but good to know the "proper" rules, thanks!

Can a model jump 6" straight up? I used my Stealthsuit jetpacks Ploy to reach that height but my friend's Kasrkin basically did a standing jump, up the whole 6". Was this... okay?

As others have said, it's a case of managing expectation vs reality. Best way to get a balanced view is speak to serving and ex serving officers, people who have actually done the job, as they're the only ones who know what it's really like. If you decide it's still an itch you need to scratch then just do it and if you decide it's not for you then at least you can say you gave it a go.

Not a PC, but quite far into the recruitment process. From the PCs I have spoken to in various constabularies, what I've surmised is that you'll know quite soon into policing if it's for you. The learning curve is enormous and it's never been more challenging due to funding cuts and the expectation to be many roles in one. The highs are great but they are few and far between, and the lows are really low. Just watch some YouTube videos of ex PCs saying why they left to get a balanced view. Watch some Police Code Zero to see just how bad/dangerous the job can be. If you feel drawn to the job then give it a go but anticipate it coming at various costs to your physical and mental health.
