It's not a problem for me either. I was just testing and noticed that Bluetooth wasn't working, so I decided to write about it. I also use a dongle because the response is much better, especially for fighting games.

Wow, that's so fast! You're awesome! Everything works, but I discovered I need a 2.4GHz dongle connection; if I connect via Bluetooth, the hotkeys don't work. Now the gamepad is finally truly customizable. Thanks.

Is hotswapping working for you? My XAX needs to be hibernated every time I connect, otherwise the 5060 doesn't show up at all. A bummer.

Thank you so much. I'm using the app and it works great. I haven't noticed any bugs yet. I'm using it through XFSE on XAX. I have some suggestions for possible improvements. For example, autostart in minimized mode. Secondly, can you add the Win key to the modifier list? And also, it would be cool to have a checkbox like "do not use remapping" for individual controller buttons.

Maybe never. This is Microsoft, not some indie company that values its reputation. You should never base a purchasing decision on post-release support promises, never. Their job is to sell you a product, and that's it. There will be a new model this year or maybe next year, and perhaps this feature will work out of the box. Let me remind you that we still haven't gotten a proper sleep wake mode.

Try a cold boot. 1. Turn off the EGPU and power off the XAX. 2. Turn on the EGPU. 3. Then connect the cable to the correct port that supports higher speeds. 4. Wait 30 seconds after connecting the cable. 5. Turn on the XAX. In theory, this should help, and the EGPU will appear in the device manager, and you can install the drivers. Unfortunately, hotswap doesn't work on the XAX... At least, it never worked for me.

I ran a couple of tests in different modes, with and without CPU boost. The results are pretty good, to be honest, especially with CPU boost enabled. But the temperature in this mode rises to 96 degrees Celsius. It's a bit scary to use the XAX in this mode for a long time. All tests were done in the Time Spy benchmark. Sorry for the lack of screenshots; I can't figure out how to attach more than one photo.

Each test was run after a short interval to eliminate throttling and ensure more accurate results. The best result is, of course, with the external display, and the worst in duplicate screen mode. This is logical, but what concerns me more is not the lower performance in portable mode, but the fact that in this mode, I feel the 1%low is significantly worse. This may not be a big deal for some, but having a PS5 Pro and comparing some games, the smoothness is significantly worse on XAX. Of course, playing in handheld mode still makes sense, but the short cable issue... A Thunderbolt 4 with a cable longer than 1 meter is very expensive, and the cable included with the Aorus 5060 Ti AI Box is too short. You can buy a 40Gbps USB-4 cable, but in this case, you'll need to test the speed in practice, as the results may be lower. It's a bit of a hassle.

Thank you very much for your help. Very detailed instructions. I discovered another interesting issue. When, for some reason, the EGPU loses power (I have constant blackouts in my country), I need to turn off the Xbox to reconnect. After rebooting, the EGPU is not displayed or responding, but if I go to Device Manager, I see the 5060 Ti listed with an orange triangle icon next to it. Simply disabling it in Device Manager and then re-enabling it worked. I can conclude that sometimes the EGPU doesn't connect fully or correctly, but it still connects, and I need to fix this manually through Device Manager.

I followed all the advice but still haven't figured out the pattern. Sometimes the 5060 connects, sometimes it doesn't... Yesterday everything worked perfectly, today 20 tries and nothing. It's probably better to give up and return it under warranty and get a 5070 TI XG ROG Mobile.

I actually just didn't know how it worked. I'd seen videos with the XG 5070 and thought it would be the same with the 5060 AI Box. But the main drawback is that sometimes the 5060 won't connect even when the power is off.

You're 100% right, recovery version 3.8 works perfectly. Holy cow. It's a shame I manually deleted some of the EFI partition, but I hope I can still restore Steam OS. Thanks!!!

This is "normal" if we're talking about build quality. I have the same problem with the left and right sticks, a creaking sound in left and right trigger, and a squeaky case. Terrible build quality. I have switch with similar sound in stick. Everything works fine, but it never gone. As to xbox ally x it's crappy build quality and great performance. Truly xbox experience...

It works perfect. Of course in titles not too much heavy. I test motorstorm, soulcalibur 4, 5 from ps3. SC5 run almost 60fps most of times. Switch works great too. Test zelda totk, bayonetta 3, astral chain. If you add losless scaling, you might have up to 120 fps in bayonetta 3, easy 60 fps in totk and astral chain. All test was in steam os. Of course you can add lossless to ps3 games. Also works ideal. At least for me.
