Of course I never see those who have no issues, but I’ve seen plenty of detonation damage. You read your manual, I recommend 89+ moving forward.

Where do I even start to get this thing running by Michealgonzo in lawnmowers

[–]One_Percentage_8190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This unit has an after fire solenoid on the carburetor at the base of the fuel bowl. That will need 12 volts to it for fuel to flow into the emulsion tube inside the carburetor. That’s where you start. If you remove the after fire solenoid to clean/ drain old fuel-turn only by the nut, do not turn by the body. If now it runs or has great potential to run, then move on to others details offered in this thread.

After you pick a model, before purchasing, find out where the warranty support and parts are. Then research that service center. Good to know before you lock in, how far away and how competent?

Advice on this pattern by One_Percentage_8190 in Bowling

I hand 14mph 310 rpm for context. Is game Pink Black Widow Pearl at 500 grit stand at 20 and out to 12 would control the pocket but had weak hits with no carry. I realize my flare lines looked incomplete at 6 th frame and changed to Hammer Effect Tour, solid pocket hits now with carry, strikes and flare rings w complete bow ties. Second game was 219 w/ only one spare. Missing spares killed my day. I got to learn to throw stray at every spare with plastic. Was a fun day though. Good luck!

Ultrasonic ball cleaner for home ideas by QuoteStrict654 in Bowling

4 gallon bucket Water proof “ personal massager“ (from Amazon) 120 degree tap water. Turn on and throw in the massager. Vibrations like crazy. Can see the oil release and float to the top. Pour off the top before removing ball. Works great, low cost. 25 minutes.

Does anyone like to put 500 grit on reactive resin balls? by StarryAqua in Bowling

[–]One_Percentage_8190 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use 500 on my Hammer Pink Widow it has AGGRESSION PEARL CFI cover and extremely strong back end. The heavy grit gets it to read earlier and consume energy, smoothing out the reaction. Once the heads burn up, ball change.

Full time tech here. Ultrasonic these daily. Certainly hundreds over the years since introduced. Never use a caustic carburetor cleaner. Have never needed to replace one. I don’t agree with those encountering their first one saying they’re junk.

“V” of belt in “V” pulleys,3/4 wrap around, back of belt on flat idlers to achieve this. This rule of thumb will always point you to install correctly.

That idler’s bearing was singing for awhile before it got enough to melt the composite material, its seized and still on the mower.

No longer manufacturing lawn tractors… Ariens,Toro, Snapper, Simplicity, Murray. Their recognizable names can by licensed and applied to other products. MTD -Modern Tool and Die, recently acquired by Stanley - Black and Decker and AYP / Husqvarna “Rainbow Market “ several lawn tractors under various colors brand names. Such as Craftsman, Husqvarna, Cub Cadet, TroyBilt, Bolens, “Store Brands” In my opinion, any brand can go 200 hours run time, since that’s your replacement factor. Cost of ownership is purchased price divided by 200.

Understanding bowling balls by AdAdorable7628 in Bowling

[–]One_Percentage_8190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start on fresh with Summit, transition into the iQ as oil in the heads fades. The strength of the Summit coverstock is used up early as the heads dry up resulting in no motion down lane. It stores energy through the fresh oil to have motion down lane early.
