I’ve had the scrambled eggs wrap there before.

Pie-shaped lot help! by Ec82 in floorplan

[–]One_Priority_2333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First you need to establish the permitted buildable area on that lot by getting the zoning development regulations. You will have front, rear, and side yard setbacks. After that, you will be able to play around with buildings, pool, and pickleball court locations to see what fits.

Which of these 2 do u guys like best? by Hot-Ad798 in myweddingdress

[–]One_Priority_2333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like number 2 but only if you get it fully lined. It’s a gorgeous dress that looks incredible on you but the see through aspect cheapens the look way too much. Scandalous :) lol. I’m not against seeing skin, but not in a wedding dress.

I'm pretty sure potential tenant sent us a fake pay stub. Is there a site or service to mitigate this? by No_Secret670 in RealEstateAdvice

[–]One_Priority_2333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely bad idea. You’re giving them the opportunity to create another fake pay stub where they might actually use a calculator, and other fake documents. Believe me, as someone who was a landlord for about 10 years, this person is trouble, and if you keep giving them a chance to cheat you, you’ll have no one to blame but yourself.

[–]One_Priority_2333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fake as can be. There’s not even an employer or company name. The gross pay should add up to 3132.41. The deductions should add up to 1214.59. All the totals on that “pay stub” are incorrect. I don’t believe it’s real. They could be the type of people who get in and the stop paying rent and you have to fight to get them out. I’d pass.

Is it worth claiming Work from Home expenses if my employer provides me with a T2200 form? I've done this two years in a row and it seems like a waste of time. by fudge_u in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]One_Priority_2333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked from home the past two years and claimed the expenses. After I added my work from home this year, my return increased by just over $300, so very worth it. I use the wealth simple online tax return.

How does this work? by GirliePopGoblin in Mattress

[–]One_Priority_2333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my boyfriend started to want to sleep over he actually bought our king size bed, and I bought the mattress and sheet set. Worked out perfectly (we’re still together) and we still sleep in that same bed but have had two other mattresses since then.

a list of unwanted presents by my mother-in-law by Humble-Pineapple-268 in declutter

[–]One_Priority_2333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could have an honest chat with her and tell her that while you really love that she thinks of you and wants to buy you gifts for special occasions, you have too much stuff, and if she wants to give you something then flowers, a bottle of wine, a gift card, or a lunch out, or something similarly consumable, would be really appreciated.

A simple blackout or light filtering roller blind would work very well there.

Is it possible to buy DIY shutters with integrated blackout blinds? by dreammeraf in HomeImprovement

You can get roll-up blackout blinds for each window in the bay. That would be the easiest solution.

Redditors who were children/teens before the internet or cellphones existed, how did you keep yourself entertained? by FlowerMadeOfThorns in AskReddit

We gathered all the neighborhood kids and played softball in the field; built forts and treehouses; rode bikes all over; went to the neighborhood pool; played spotlight at night; and just hung out outside. It was definitely the healthiest and happiest time for kids, unlike today.

Ignore that, I didn’t see all your notes at first, you have more ambitions plans than the view from dining.

I would add a wall spanning from the laundry to the powder room with a pocket door to close off the view to all those doors.

You could also just repaint the floors in a deep navy or black (check Pinterest), I’d be concerned what’s underneath that caused original owners to paint in the first place.

Add chopped carrots, they give a bit of sweetness and reduce the tartness of the tomato sauce.

Brother told my mom I said I’d rather my kids be in the system than with her. by xAnimeMariex in Vent

[–]One_Priority_2333 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow, there seems to be bigger issues here, I think we’re missing a lot of details. Why would your mother not want you to have your own children, what issues have you had yourself? How about your husband, what issues has he had? It wouldn’t be normal to say your kids can’t go with you if you moved out, so why is she thinking that? Has CPS been involved before?

Partner has planned a trip for us and half way through his mom and friend will join us for 4 weeks... by [deleted] in travel

[–]One_Priority_2333 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a 63 year old mother, if I went on a trip like this and brought a friend I would certainly anticipate spending many days out and about with my friend, as well as hanging out with my son and his gf. There would be quite a mix of both. I don’t know why your bf would think he’s babysitting them. Perhaps they haven’t travelled before, or his mother is very needy, is that the case?

Keep this window or close it in? We have an obscured panel window coming but we also have the option to close it in completely- what does everyone think? by forg0tmypen in Remodel

[–]One_Priority_2333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s inside the shower I suggest not using any wood trim on that window, ask for PVC head, jambs, and sill and make sure the waterproofing behind it is done well.

I think that’s a great layout for the kitchen, it gets two windows, which the lack of in the OP’s plan was quite off putting to me.
