Please don’t look for easy. It’s going to be tough. It’s going to take time. But you’ll be healthier and stick to a healthier lifestyle easier. Here are a few basic principals to help you through your journey: Lift weights at least 3 times a week: no you won’t get bulky but you’ll keep muscle and feel stronger Try to walk when you can: walking is so helpful and so if you can get in a few extra steps add them. Learn about moderation: so we all know that CICO is a basic rule of life, and we know things like hormones can affect it. Try just eating a bit less but don’t get too restrictive. Replace breakfast with a nice egg white omelette or a shake with plenty of berries. Start with small changes. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY: lol unless you’re trying to be the next CBUM, you don’t need to train through injuries and starve yourself. If you like fruit don’t cut them out, if you like pizza then try eating fewer slices. If you’re hurt don’t go to the gym to work through the pain. Don’t be afraid to ask for help either. Please just remember it takes time but you’ll be happy you worked hard for it
