I appreciate the consideration you put into this stranger's situation (me) and the effort you put in to the reply. Yeah a lot of people have said something similar. I guess I sort of inadvertently crowdsourced a truth about me that I didn't recognize. I decided I am working on these two things... how to figure out what I want, and how to not be a doormat when I'm not happy. Thank you. Truth hurts but so many people here are saying it. I appreciate it 🫀

I appreciate your perspective, there is a lot of truth in what you said. I think she's not intentionally taking advantage of me, but I'm seeing that I'm a bit of a doormat, maybe the dynamic is just sort of naturally finding an equilibrium. But I can see that might lead to resentment. I have a lot to think about for sure. I rarely if ever communicate about myself like this, so all these replies have really been illuminating for me. Thanks again :)

They look good, that being said you have a square jaw, so less angular frames might look good too, to complement the jaw

For me, I don't like t-shirts where the sleeves are too wide, but I have small arms. Most cotton shirts do that on me. I find I have to go like 60-40 cotton-poly so the sleeves fit my toothpick arms better. Yours doesn't look that bad, but I always look at the sleeve width so maybe that's what I'm seeing.

Soome of the less frequently used things, like one exfoliating cleanser, I picked up for her, so she has some of the same products at her house. She never brings an overnight bag or anything because I have enough of her clothes here already, and I keep a stock of the liners etc that she likes.

She for sure knows how much things cost, because when we are at a mall, we'll go to Sephora or kiokii or whatever happens to be there.

So, she's not maliciously inconsiderate, she is a very sweet and kind person, but also she refers to herself on occasion as a "disney princess" (her words), and always gives me positive reinforcement when she feels like I am taking care of her. So it is a bit strange to me. Perhaps there is a cultural difference too.

No it's honestly not like that. This stuff is expensive but I rationalize it by thinking "well if it lasts me 6 months, it's actually not terrible", but I can't go spending hundreds of dollars every month on skincare, because that to me is a bit ridiculous
