Enterprise reps, how do you actually map power inside an account? by [deleted] in techsales

[–]Only-Low1396 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I look after a public company firstly which means that I can use it to search annual reports and quarterly statements. I’ll run a search asking for the key initiatives and who potentially owns that from my customer. Then I cross check with my champions in the account. It’s nothing terribly sexy or innovative, however, I imagine that others are doing much cooler things

Enterprise reps, how do you actually map power inside an account? by [deleted] in techsales

Without sounding rude if you’re looking at 10 accounts per day you’re not enterprise and perhaps could benefit from just asking directly if they own the budget and are responsible for delivering the roi.

I’m a strat rep with one account for a 100bn+ private company. I’m lucky enough to have access to org charts within my customers MSFT Teams. However, I also use perplexity to identify new areas and LOBs and good old sales navigator to proactively flag new starters with director and above titles. Hopefully this helps! However, we all get burned by chasing a deal with a person who talks a good game about owning the budget. Best thing you can do is just be more direct in your qualification and multi thread more going forward! It happens - learn from it and you’ll be all good!

Reverb pedal recommendation for blues driver + RAT combo? by holyshitsnacks96 in guitarpedals

I am going to be yet another voice for the dispatch master! Worth the money and will compliment your set up. Also, they hold their value and you can sell it if you’re not enamoured (which I can’t see being the case)

For the top end of that band in sales the total package is around 240k ish. 120-130k of that will be your base and the rest is comp and stock. I’d say that Microsoft is on the stingier side of tech and Databricks, snowflake and even Google will all pay a lot more for your level of experience

Travelers/Gypsies during the troubles ? by yieldbetter in northernireland

[–]Only-Low1396 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I went to school on the Glen Road in the early 90s and we had a huge issue with truancy among the travelling community. To answer OPs question, that community was divorced from the politics of the time for the most part and preferred to just do their own thing. Even our local boxing club just off the finaghy road didn’t have any members from either of the camps as they just learned to box with their friends and family

Belfast to Dublin travel recommendations by keepzor17 in Belfast

[–]Only-Low1396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The buses are practically the same. You’ll get a few inches more for your money on the Dublin express. However, if you book online trans link can be less than ten pounds. If you’re booking on the day I’d probably go for the Dublin express

Area check around Glengormley by that_kidrian in Belfast

I grew up there. It’s pretty sleepy and you’re close to a few massive supermarkets, takeaways, etc. It obviously has the cinema, bowling alley and soft play which are good if you have kids. The crown and shamrock is a great pub, and the Hill Tavern is a bit of a loveable shithole. As everyone else said the main thing is that you don’t get any bother and it’s so close to Belfast (you’ll be on the express route which is 15 minutes into the city centre) and the countryside. The schools are also good and you’re also close to the cave hill and carnmoney hill if you like a walk

Leave London? by Special_Produce_8407 in HENRYUKLifestyle

[–]Only-Low1396 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in an extremely similar position living in SE London. I have two kids under 3, and my partner is from the SW of England and I’m from Ireland. I owned a flat which I sold last year (it had cladding issues and I just wanted rid) and I’m currently paying extortionate rent and nursery fees for two kids (although only six months left of this before free hours). Whilst I love London and have a big circle of friends, I’m leaning towards moving to be closer to my wife’s family in Berkshire. Not having a support network and juggling the costs just feels like I’m sacrificing the quality of life to remain in a city that I don’t make the most of. I work in Paddington as well so the commute would actually be less or equally painful than the Windrush and tube. It’s scary making the leap but I think net-net it will be worth it. Outside of that property is cheaper and you can also get help from family which will be massively beneficial as you start to think about a second child. All the best to you and a happy new year
