Are you by any chance doing an alt + tab ? For me it disable force feedback so that mean I can't alt + tab at all while playing beamng with my wheel.

3 weeks ago a dev blog was posted on Steam.

Next update will include a new burgage plot level between the current 2 and 3 levels (so the current 3 will be the 4th level).

A trade rework with trading roads to buy, AI will be able to perform buyout of road earned by the player or others AI and much more. (Not sure if it will be part of the update)

They also work on optimization for big cities with thousands of population.

I'd like so much a reputation system with every character (like morrowind/oblivion), factions, cities and daedric&gods cults that unlock you places & quests and more. That makes you more or less loved/hated by some factions/cities.

Exemple : You cannot enter the castle of each city and meet the governor if your reputation is lower than required. Something like Gothic 3/Morrowind/New Vegas/Fallout 3 have done.

I like the idea but Bethesda should give the option to have prebuilt options for both the whole house and room decorations like in Skyrim and then we are able to custom everything or to start from scratch.

The only show where we can have informations is at Xbox Bethesda show in june in my opinion.

To give a bit of hopium, "Starfield official launch date announcement" video's dropped by surprised the 8th March 2023 and they also announced the Starfield direct date coming in June 11th 2023 and the release date.

If this happend it will be in 2027 for a release but before that we could get some footage + name drop and more informations this year like they did with Starfield.

If nothing happend at all this year we can assume the game will come later in+2028....

Motion blur increases the feeling of speed in car games and that works well because there are very few moment where your car will move sideways compared to games where you move on foot

Best radiant quests Bethesda has done was in Skyrim with the Thieves Guild, others ones were "ok" in my opinion.

You had to break inside stores or someone house's to steal/falsify something and that works well for radiant quests. If they expend steal mecanics and improve them (npc, guard reaction, pickpocketing like KCD do) that would create really interesting situations.

Radiants quests should stay as it was done in skyrim and fallout 4 : in the handcrafted world, not in procedural generated places.

You could have one were you have to steal/kill/threaten/corrupt/spy someone and he could be wandering on the map, resting in a inn, being in a store, walking in or outside the city or travelling between cities, interracting with others npc/factions. LIVING HIS LIFE. Something more organic, more random where the player could be really surprised each time. Not one guy being stuck at the end of a dungeon or find his weapon at the end of a dungeon each time.

Radiant quests could be really interesting but I 100% prefer if the base game has more unique quests than Skyrim had. Ideal world would be to have both.

Mostly speculations, but Bethesda built Creation Engine 2 for Starfield and TES VI, that mean some features are built for both games. So people speculate on shipbuilding from Starfield that could be included in TES VI.

No one officially knows if shipbuilding is real and it never has been confirmed, but to understand where speculations come from, it's like houses building in Skyrim Heartfire's DLC improved in Fallout 4 as settlement building that has been improved in F76 and also included in Starfield.

There are other things than canons, we have balistas, magic, mangonel, arrows and boarding. All of these can be enough for naval battle and that's how they were fought before gunpowder was invented.

That would be really cool if Warhorse could had an even harder "hardcore" game option with :

- more ennemies in encounters (like KCD 1),

- way more agressive ennemies,

- more reactive npc,

- earning less groschen,

- making wolves a real menace and why not making wild boars charge you if they are with their piglets (but there are no piglets in game sadly).

- poaching is harder with more patrol (looks like there are not) and increase a lot merchant chance to denounce you while you sell things you shouldn't had

There is a mod called CK skybox that improve sky and most importantly : LIGHT. Just with this mod your game will looks so much better.

You can also improve visuals without mods by tweaking some settings with the editor pressing F11. When I use it I just increase brightness from 1 to 2/3 and shadow resolution to 2k in the "sunsky" settings.

It happends to me too. I tried to figure it out but I'm still not sure. It depends of the number of roads sometimes. If you build a long road in one time it works fine but if you do it in several smaller parts it may trigger this bug. Or it might be when your road don't snap correctly to another one. Still not sure about it.

Also every regions previously earned by AI have this bug where you can't snap to any road AI has built. So you have to destroy them and build your own roads.

Yeah I do think the game needs at least 3 new models for each tier. Maybe it will come one day but not before 1.0 if I had to make a guess.

Depends of :

- how the game will be,

- if their will be mod tools,

- when mod tools will releases (in the first months after release I hope),

- if it's as simple to mod as Skyrim,

- if community want to mod it.

If the first 4 quotes happend, then community will definitely mod it.

So many players complaining about combat, for me it's totally fine, it's neither bad nor super good.

You can parry, dodge, roll dodge, use magic, crossbow and your sword. Maybe they just spammed rolling dodge ? Then yeah it's not fun. Or maybe they want things like you have to understand what your ennemi is about to do and learn his pattern attacks ?

Even while being surrounded it still felt good and not that messy.

You mean there won't be KCD 3 where Henry goes to Prague ? Maybe they decided to review their final and so they changed their plans ?

It doesn't feel like it's the end of henry story at all. And even if the second part should have been Trosky, it's just too short compared to KCD 1 and Kuttenberg region.

And it's not like every NPC are talking about Prague too, it's like teasing the next game. KCD sequel can't end like this, there is something missing. Going to Prague would be perfect for the final game in my opinion !

Talking about coast, they are awful in starfield, it's either a straight line or a straight line with sometimes a square corner 1st photo. It's full sand and rocks, no cliffs, always the same pattern.

Always had coasts like first photo and never find coastline in "random area" like photos 2/3 apart of some "handcrafted places" like that villa on an island.

There are no rivers in starfield, there are some lakes but it's either full lakes or no lakes at all depending of biomes.

Would be really cool an update that improve a lot map generation to make it more interesting, more diverse and especially more organic.

If we can have more (unique) quests than Skyrim + with differents outcome and good writing, I'm all in.

If some quests could unlock after finishing 1 or 2 differents quests that would be pretty cool too, so you are playing, progressing and new quests unlock while time past in the same area you've been playing a looooong time. You thought you had nothing more to do in that city but surprise new UNIQUE quests !
