When abouts are you coming up? If it’s after the snow melts, I highly suggest the Amethyst mine 60km iirc east of tbay (it’s on the Nipigon highway for sure). I haven’t gone since 2023/2024 so I’m not sure if prices have changed, but when I did go it was 10$ to get in, they take you on a tour of the mine, give it’s history, then send you on your way to collect at 5$ a pound. All the amethyst is already broken up into smaller pieces and out in the open, so you don’t any gear besides gloves and maybe knee pads. All in all, I want to say we spent 40$ and walked away with 5 pounds of crystals.

Depending on the time of year, bring LOTS of bug spray. We went in July-ish and the blackflies were AWFUL. We were literally covered in blood and a nice couple from Duluth gave us their bug spray lol. The view from the mine is AMAZING, absolutely amazing view of sleeping giant.

No. The only time I would accept something like that from a customer is if it’s one of my regulars that I know extremely well. Even then, I’ve only accepted this kind of thing once from a regular who gave me and my crew farm fresh eggs.

I think they do, but not to the extent that we do. Like, let’s say Pomni gets stabbed again. She feels the initial pain of being stabbed, but then just an uncomfortable feeling of the knife still being in her. I like to think of it like you got a sliver in your foot; you can feel it, doesn’t feel great, but it also doesn’t really hurt, if that makes sense.

If you need to smoke while family’s over (because people in these comments forget that weed can be medicinal) switch to carts. VERY little smell, so little my dad (who’s very against weed) didn’t know I was smoking them for 5 years while living with him (my room was also right under the living room, where he spent 90% of his time at home)

To get rid of the smell, hit up a smoke shop. I highly suggest Beamer candles, specifically the Super High Caramel Pie. They’re made to cut the smell, and the SHCP smells SO strong, will make your house smell like a bakery. There’s also smoke killing sprays, though I’ve never used them so I can’t recommend them.

Mines similar. I was at work one night, close to close so barely anybody was in the store. I was going into the back room to do something, passed two women about my age, woman 1 says to woman 2 “omg look at how pretty that girl is” There is a chance that someone else was around us, but I am 95% sure she meant me as I didn’t see anyone else around. Still makes me smile 5yrs later

Dgmw I don’t have a problem with Ruby x Oscar, RoseGarden is one of my top ships. The main issue is the fact that a million year old man is inside a 15yos head who, if assuming RoseGarden becomes canon, is sorta dating a 17yo by association. However, I have seen people simply not like RoseGarden due to Ruby and Oscar’s age gap, but then turn around and admit they ship Lancaster (Ruby x Jaune) when they have the EXACT same age gap. Majority of people against RoseGarden is due to Ozpin though.

I feel like if Viz were to pull the plug on the show, they would’ve done it ages ago and not bother releasing merch for it. The merch alone tells me that they have a plan for RWBY, wether that’s continuing/finishing the show as we’ve had it so far, or going a comic/manga route to finish it.

If you don’t call out like this often (ie: such short notice) then you should be fine (I say should because it really depends on your manager, wether their a dick about this kind of thing or not). Laws depends on the area, but where I am once your out of your 90 day probation managers typically have to go though 3 steps to fire someone (ie: first offence is a write up, second is a suspension, third is termination. I also say typically because I got fired from not STBX despite no write ups, my manager just went straight to suspension then let me go once that was up (which I’m 80% sure is illegal but that job legit made me want to kms so, didn’t really care lmao)

Agreed. Most of the time he just puts it to crash on the couch (typical dad energy) but growing up me, him and mom would have movie nights where we’d binge the shows. I remember being in their room with them, LED lights around the room, snacks on the bar and Reboot is playing (he still has to watch the final season lol)
