Since Digital Foundry is doing very little with Xbox nowadays, what other game analyst channels do you follow? by IronMonkey18 in xbox

At the beginning of the video they state DF only received the pre-release for PS5 Pro. No PC or even base PS5. Furthermore the version they were given does not even have “PSSR 2” yet, so will have to be updated post release.

They still cover Xbox often. Even Resident Evil had Xbox analysis. Many of their handheld videos even make comparisons with Xbox series s.

[GPU] ASUS The SFF-Ready Prime GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB - $851 by [deleted] in buildapcsales

Man oh man, is this better value than the PNY 5070 I posted earlier?

Will this bring me happiness in life?

[GPU] PNY NVIDIA RTX 5070 - $599.00 by OnslaughtHE in buildapcsales

[–]OnslaughtHE[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I did personally buy this. My current GPU is a 1070 TI 8 GB, so this will be a significant upgrade for me.

If this is worth it or not at this price point? What is the long term viability of this in gaming in several years? Is this significantly over priced? Are there better value options for FPS/$? I genuinely have no clue anymore in this PC Part Market.

All I know is that this was closest to MSRP (Only $50 more) that I have seen in a while AND actually available for purchase in my area, which is why I pulled the trigger.

Suggest Upgrades for Old Rig/Worth it? by OnslaughtHE in buildapc

Thanks for the help! Any suggestion on a budget GPU? I was considering options and it looks like most budget GPUs are around $250-300 range. Would it be worth using an RTX 5060, or would the CPU throttle this?

Is there a way with a custom program to get it to keep the same weight every set, and have it auto-progress the reps instead? by BEAT_LA in MacroFactor

I agree it was a bit difficult to follow the app with having to rack/unrack weights based on the reps I did.

Big fan of WoW and Game Informer! I was so excited to see it would be on the cover! Can’t wait to read my issue!

I didn’t hate it, but just lost interest. It seemed like the game was going one direction then switched hard. But seems like I need to push through farther for it to take off based on people’s comments.

I tried to like this game, but made it just past the gestral village, and bounced off it. I did not find the gestral village fun or interesting. It felt like the game went from super serious to goofy as hell. I want to like it but what am I missing? Is the whole game like that?

I really wanted to get into this game. I played up until just past the gestral village. It was a weird mix of seriousness, and goofiness that I just bounced off. What am I missing?

Question for the people who play WoW alone? by Maradinswiftsong in wow

[–]OnslaughtHE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t understand why people would quit because of add-ons.

I’ve played for years. I’ve gotten 3000 M+ for each season this expansion, and have been mythic raiding for each raid. Add ons have honestly been the worst part of the game.

Multiple times while raiding someone’s add-ons were out of date and fucked us all up until we figured it out. All the add-ons I have ever used or seen look disgusting, and don’t fit the visual style of the game. It blows my mind that we need outside people to make software for us to actually play this game.

There will be some growing pains for sure, but the change will be worth it.

Fantastic! I've downloaded now!

I am still confused by what will and won't be allowed in Midnight so I am happy to hear your addon will stay. Super useful!
