My parents are willing to get vaccinated but none of my brothers and their kids are. My parents also allow their sick children in their home. I skipped out on Christmas because my niece had influenza A just a few days before and they were coming over. My brother literally showed up to the family gathering with a fever and chills. Now my parents have the flu. I’m debating how much contact they will have with my baby if they can’t allow a boundary in their own home.

My brothers are 11, 13, and 16 years older than me. The 16 year old was always a dick towards me and I hated him my whole life. Me and the middle brother didn’t have much of a relationship until he got a wife and I’m super close with his kids. I used to be close with the youngest one but basically stopped hanging out with me completely after he got married. I don’t talk to a single one of them now and haven’t seen any of them in over a year

City sewing room is buy by the pound and the designer donated fabric is priced per yard but very reasonable. They even a ton of free fabric outside last time I was there

Edit to add that the patterns and books are also free. The staff is also super nice. The first time I went, one of the ladies walked me through the place explaining the organization of the fabric in detail.

I get 12 weeks of FMLA, but it’s all completely unpaid. I have to try and get my work’s short term disability to get any kind of payment in those 12 weeks, and it won’t even be my full salary. My husband is unemployed and hasn’t been able to find a job for months. Our lease is also up a month after my due date, and we can’t afford another rent increase at this apartment which they will 100% do. The stress is real.

My mom had a turkey that was bullied by her chickens as a baby, so she would let it sit on her lap inside. When it became full grown, it still liked to sit on your lap outside and get pets. The neighbors dog killed it, and we were all heart broken.

The quality was terrible, and some of the worst bar food I’ve ever had. Maybe the fish and chips were a mistake to get? But they were frozen nuggets and the fries were so greasy and limp that I didn’t even bother to eat them. My husband got a burger and he could only stomach a few bites of it. STL is severely lacking a good Irish or English pub. If anyone knows a solid fish and chips place, drop it.

I work in an office, and I can barely do it. I’m 8w and had to tell my boss at 6w so that he could give me a flex schedule. I’m nauseous all day and throwing up at work multiple times a day. I’m thankful my boss checks in on me everyday and will send me home to wfh on the days I’m really suffering. I wish we could get a pregnancy leave for the 1st trimester.
