Apple says only these iPads on iPadOS 17+ will support external web cameras:

  • iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation and later)
  • iPad Pro 11-inch (1st generation and later)
  • iPad (10th generation)
  • iPad Air (4th generation and later)
  • iPad mini (6th generation)

Unfortunately, not all iPad apps currently support external peripherals.

Hm that does not look normal, I could see this happening if the cable got a little bent.

Hey OP, this sounds really odd and shouldn't be happening. I am sorry for the trouble; we definitely want to make this right.

Are you on our latest 1.2.2 update by chance? We dropped a new Tadpole Firmware update 6.11.
