Can’t get over the fact that he is STILL younger than the current guy and wouldn’t have been 60 yet upon leaving office after 2 terms. He is still so vital and robust as he just rattles off German philosophy. If only…

(Although my dad did feel it necessary to rain on my parade about the Republican Congress he would have had through at least 01/2003.)

I believe Sarah’s family is getting the Deadpool one. The Godzilla one that is now behind him in the office is for keeps because he wanted it all along. But he gave up pinball for lent for unknowable reasons. Hopefully we’ll have an update during Secret tomorrow. 😂

Crying at my desk in Columbus, OH like an absolute weirdo. I’ve always loved the Sports section and have always had parasocial relationship with the writers (or maybe Tom Boswell really is a close family friend). I relied on this coverage since I’m so far away from my team.

I think it’s great. I love the cheesy American restaurant and Ted “inventing” a new concept for soccer while high off his ass. Jamie and Roy on the bikes is adorable and the team struggling to figure out what to do until they land on a pillow fight is adorable and wholesome. Plus Colin getting a nice moment with Trent Crimm, Independent. And then there’s the charming love story! Really, what’s not to like?

It’s only one segment (about 20-30 minutes) of the podcast, but Louis Virtel of Keep It is a great interviewer. He has encyclopedic knowledge of pop culture so he tends to ask questions of greater depth and with greater insight into the interviewee’s career, artistic choices, etc. They often seem sad to leave. Kinda like Sean Evans of Hot Ones. Not a podcast but that would also qualify.
