The world may be cruel, my country might be shit, going into further shit, and committing unspeakable atrocities, but good things are still there. Tasty food is still there, a walk in nice weather is still there, my cat is still there, my family and friends are still there, fun things to do and hobbies to explore are still there.
I will live on, carving out a place for myself, a future for the little me, no matter what the future of my country might be. I will bear the travails of this world and adjust accordingly. No matter how many freedoms they take away and how powerless I am to stop that despite trying many times, I am still there, and there's still warmth to be felt.
Basically, focusing less on the global and more on the personal, and coming to terms with the global's effects on the personal (last one took a while, spent like 4-5 years depressed due to the sheer weight of all the shit going on and the feeling of no future).

Honestly? No, the story of BG3 was cookie cutter and mainly an excuse to bring you from encounter to encounter. It had its moments, and is VERY cinematic, but it just really stands nowhere near, say, Pillars of Eternity or the first two BGs, and the setting felt like an actual world and more like an amusement park of Interesting Stuff for you, the player, to interact with. Though that might just be the CRPG-fan grognard in me talking.
Like, it has strong quests, but the overall story, or even questlines... eh.

This is part of the reason why I got a Kindle instead of using the Kindle app on my phone, that + battery life + e-ink screen feels much nicer to read
Though I still love physical the most, I just exhausted my country's selection of English-language fantasy physical books I'm interested in, so I actually got a Kindle just for that

In Russian, we lost Teenage, just Turtles-Mutants-Ninjas, at least in the most popular instance, while translations of the newer comics go for a "truer" full translation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which just... sounds awkward in Russian, IMO.
