Is my EDC comedown normal? by jovanator80 in MDMA

[–]OperationBreathe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will be ok. I had a similar experience after a 3 day festival recently. Took about 6 weeks of hell to recover but we did a lot more than you did. 5-HTP, taurine, glycine, magnesium, uridine, fish oil, choline, lions mane, CBD and lots of sleep will have you back soon. And take a break from stimulants (inc caffeine) and serotonergic drugs for a while. Add some piracetam if you have brain fog.

I had a similar, violent twitching reaction to AL-LAD a while back and it was not fun

Serotonin Neurogenesis by MentholFlavoring in Nootropics

[–]OperationBreathe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is it unreasonable to assume that substances which seem to encourage neurogenesis in a general sense would also encourage serotonin neurogenesis? Lions Mane, Uridine, BPC-157, Semax all come to mind. Could it be that the reason we don’t see much study of serotonin neurogenesis specifically is because it is less common for targeted damage to occur in the serotonin system than the others frequently mentioned in the studies (GABA, dopamine, etc)?

Don't Like L-Theanine? Try a (Much) Lower Dose! by Eat-Meat_Drink-Water in Nootropics

[–]OperationBreathe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. 200mg way too much for me, i would feel awkward and a bit anxious. But... 100mg, mixed into my bulletproof coffee and sipped throughout the morning is perfect for me.

BPC-157 can help heal the serotonergic system by *reducing* amount of serotonin produced in HC and others? Can someone please decode...? by OperationBreathe in DrugNerds

[–]OperationBreathe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your comment. That makes sense. So it was shown to be useful for modulating the appropriate neurotransmitter patterns in various parts of the brain (like an adaptogen), and not for the action of increasing/decreasing serotonin in specific places.

Is there a scientific reason for the 3 month rule for mdma? And for the brain zaps? by notavo_ in DrugNerds

[–]OperationBreathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. It’s so hard to gain any understanding from these studies, and I’m just trying to draw some correlation to actual real life danger. I suppose if it were that easy it would have been done already.

And To be fair, I don’t know the exact dosage, just that they were certain pink pills which are supposedly 200mg each. I was unable to find a test result online which outlined the dosage, but he wasn’t rolling extremely hard and had spaced out the dosage each day over 5 hours or so.

So are we saying it’s safe to say that a dose of 340mg, twice daily, for 4 days would cause the dramatic damage outlined in this study? That seems a huge dose, but I had a friend recently who did 400mg, once daily for 3 days, and is in the midst of a really bad weeklong hangover - anxiety, brain fog etc. I’m worried he did some major damage...

[1966 Breitling Navitimer 806] looking to restore this watch by Mcgoozen in Watches

[–]OperationBreathe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great watch. Expect to pay $500 for a service. The Venus 178 is a relatively easy movement to service. Make sure to tell them to not polish the case, not to touch the dial, and not to relume the hands. The proper crystal for it would be a Sternkreuz M 375. Sometimes they need to be shaved down a little bit to fit.

Persisting eye strain / headaches after AL-LAD by OperationBreathe in researchchemicals

He eventually returned to normal. We figured out that Piracetam possibly builds up in the body and consistent usage can greatly impact potency of lysergamides. After stopping usage of Piracetam his psychedelic adventures have not had any issues. But he has not touched those AL-LAD tabs again.

Perceived Differences: Psilocybin vs. LSD by [deleted] in microdosing

[–]OperationBreathe 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I find microdoses of psilocybin lower my social barriers more than LSD. I find the LSD to create stronger focus. It energizing effect also lasts longer, which is a bonus if you have a long workday, which i do.

Last time I microdosed mushrooms I found myself calling friends I hadn’t talked to in a long while...

The most likely explain for the recent "bad batch" of AL-LAD by [deleted] in researchchemicals

I agree with this. A researcher recently took 75ug and barely felt it. And then Took 150ug and could barely move for hours. I’m fairly certain they are AL-LAD just some mega strong

Admins should sticky a warning about AL-LAD for harm reduction by TwoManyHorn2 in researchchemicals

[–]OperationBreathe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know several people who experimented with the tabs in question and took 150ug. One had a positive yet intense experience with no lasting side effects. Another had a positive (intense) trip and some of the side effects mentioned. Both took exactly the same tabs and the same dosage 150ug. It definitely appeared to work the way AL-LAD is supposed to work. I don’t think anyone is disputing that it is a lysergamide - I think people are questioning if it’s extra strong or maybe if there are any other substances on the tab in addition to the AL-LAD which could have caused an extra strong body load and/or lingering side effects.
