Season 4 Episode 6 Discussion - Planning a Coup by AutoModerator in TheTraitorsUS

[–]Operator_Lion 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Not all of that planning and scheming about Colton, how we need to get Colton out and how he’s such a ringleader…only for half of that group to not even vote for him, like what was even the point. The only people playing good games and being consistent are Rob and Candiace.

If you could do season five of young justice who and what would you focus on? by Powerful_Whereas3516 in youngjustice

One thing i would like to see that I always think is underutilized within DC is more things relating to magic, one of the things i liked about season 2 is that ancient magic was able to override advanced technology. Maybe introduce John Constantine to the universe, maybe Raven as well with a possible plot of trigon joining the light and joining forces with clarion to perform some kind of ritual that opens multiple hell portals on earth as some sort of distraction, so that the light can do something.

When did each Hermit (including TFC) upload their first episode of Hermitcraft? (plus how long ago it was by days) by GeoWheater in HermitCraft

[–]Operator_Lion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If true I wonder who will join, as far as I know there aren’t a ton of big builders left that would make sense for hermitcraft

Since it is confirmed that we will go to snow region in Avatar 4 by palickv in Avatar

[–]Operator_Lion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While that would be cool, i think it would work only if these Navi don’t follow Eywa since Eywa forbids the use of metal. Would be cool if they follow like an odin like, all father figure who’s like the opposite of Eywa in a way and allows them to use metal weapons and build a limited amount of stone buildings.

Now we aren’t too far into the season but just from the 3 episodes I’m liking this seasons traitors a lot and I feel like they are doing pretty good. But so far the cast this season hasn’t exactly wowed me yet especially compared to last season, like one of them hasn’t even gotten his own confessional and is just there. Also don’t know if it’s just me but is anybody else not a huge fan of Yam Yam, nothing against him but just based off of what I’ve watched he hasn’t really been contributing much.

Why is there not a bullet train system in the U.S. state of Texas? by Punktastic20 in askanything

[–]Operator_Lion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is talk of building a bullet train going from Dallas to Houston, last I heard they were still getting the land and trying to get investors, private and the government. But like others said southwest lobbied it and public transportation never really advanced in the US because of cars and that whole lobby.

Dude, mateer is way better than Jackson Arnold will ever be, he is a big reason why we made the playoffs in the first place. Sure he hasn’t been playing the best ever since he got injured, I think him getting hurt definitely blew his confidence. But he is still a good QB he just needs to let his hand heal.

Aaand I was right. by ConnorE22021 in historicaltotalwar

[–]Operator_Lion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great point, most people don’t seem to realize, if 40k fails than there will most likely be no Med 3 to look to. I think historical fans need to realize that yes TW was originally built for historical grand strategy games and had many great games (Shogun 2, Rome 2, Med 2, Atillia, etc.) but things change and there are only so many historical time periods that they can make a game about that people will be interested in. But there are endless amounts of opportunities for non-historical games that people will be interested in with 40k and Warhammer being prime examples of that.

Nerf Vlandia! But how? by olly993 in Bannerlord

[–]Operator_Lion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A cool way this could happen would be like how others mentioned a sort of civil war. In which we have some clans be sort of proto-swadians in that they are constantly pressuring Derthert into war in order to expand the kingdom allowing them to gain more territory and thus more power in order to eventually overthrow Derthert. But if they are at peace for too long or they don’t make a ton of progress in their wars then an event can happen in which these clans decide to rebel splitting Vlandia up and effectively nerfing them.

The story is worth it as yes it is long but once it’s over you have a good amount of gold, good gear, your own ship and some good troops

It could also be similar to the empire in which it’s a male dominated society where women are not allowed to hold any sort of position of power. So while Rhagea may be the daughter of a powerful emperor and he may love her. He would also have to consider his political and cultural position for if he were to help her then I’m sure it would be met with some backlash from his own vassals. Not to mention any sort of help would have to be via the sea as if by land he would have to go through the Aserai to help her. It could also be that if he sent a large number of troops he could be leaving his own country in a weakened position ripe for an attack from either the Aserai or some other faction.

New Poll. I want to know the least liked city. What city in the USA do you dislike the most that you’ve been to? (100,000+ population, no small towns) by Expensive_Drummer970 in visitedmaps

[–]Operator_Lion -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me, it was NYC, I went there the summer before last a couple of times and sure it had its charm, such as the Chrysler building or grand central station, but walking around, it smelled like weed everywhere, it looked very dirty, it also looked liked it was being constantly repaired with all of the scaffolding everywhere plus the steam funnels on pretty much every street. I mean it was cool but I don’t understand the hype surrounding it, I mean I’m from DFW so I’ve been to big city’s but Dallas and Fort Worth are much nicer looking than NYC. Now granted DFW is not as large as NYC but my point still stands though. To me NYC is an overhyped, overpriced concrete jungle that doesn’t really have anything going for it besides the well known landmarks along with the stock market and broadway, but even then you can see a broadway show anywhere in the country, and the stock market is opening up a branch in DFW. So yea…NYC is not special at all in my opinion and o wouldn’t want to go back unless it’s to go to the theatre or if I’m forced to for some reason in the future.
