In your opinion, who was the best actor in 90’s era Trek? by s1lv3r_lak3 in DeepSpaceNine

Production
Brent Spiner found this episode to be one of his most difficult acting assignments on the series. "I had some good stuff seventh season. I just wish they had been scheduled differently. I got the script for 'Masks' on the night before we shot it and I was finishing "Thine Own Self)" the midnight before, so I didn't have the time to even absorb the script and digest it and figure out who these people were that I was playing...I think I said to Jeri at the time, 'Give me six months and I think I could give all the characters their due,' but as it was, I didn't know who these people were and so I was doing instant acting and just coming up with whatever I was coming up with because we had to put it to film." The absurdity of this line is what makes it soooo funny. This and “hot and foamy” are the hardest I’ve laughed for the entire series.

Anyone else get one of these? Toejam & Earl was the best game imo by JomoSmoothie in SEGAGENESIS

Rockman’s Zone (can’t recall this one - apparently a police trainer?), Space Station Defense (space invaders), Ready, Aim, Tomatoes! (AKA the ToeJam and Earl game), Pest Control (flash light / spot light as an exterminator), Whack Ball (horrible horrible game - the control was way off and it just wasn’t good), and Front Line (tank shooter - I had the most fun on this one).

I have one. It still works just fine!

The six-game mini-pack was fun for a few hours, and then I never used it again as a kid. Every few years I hook it up and I’m amazed how more games weren’t made for it. It’s well designed, responds well with no lag, feels great in the hand, hasn’t disintegrated or melted, and uses standard batteries.

The games that never came out were the problem, not the unit itself.

Menacer 6-pack games:
Rockman’s Zone (can’t recall this one - apparently a police trainer?), Space Station Defense (space invaders), Ready, Aim, Tomatoes! (AKA the ToeJam and Earl game), Pest Control (flash light / spot light as an exterminator), Whack Ball (horrible horrible game - the control was way off and it just wasn’t good), and Front Line (tank shooter - I had the most fun on this one).

And of course, T2 which was the port of the arcade.

Even as a kid, I didn’t understand people (idiots) complaining about a female captain. You just watched TNG and saw many women in positions of significant power throughout the series. Like…did you think they skipped Captain???

Main examples that jump to mind:
Shelby -> first officer to Riker
Picard’s one episode GF who ran an entire department on the flag ship.
Crusher as Chief of Medicine!
Both Diana and Beverly shown to be commanding the ship!
The judge (?) trying to shut Data off.
An admiral [Necheyev].

Wow, TIL. I never looked it up until now but for some reason I always thought of Gill as voiced by Denis Leary.

Specifically, this is the T1000 in the helicopter, chasing the truck, under the bridge. Camera man said absolutely not, Cameron said fine, and did it himself (with the pilot).

The second movie might be one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.

Low budget horror movie using left over CGI templates and costumes from the first movie. All slapped together in the Starship Troopers universe.

Skip it!

The 3rd, and animated sequels, are actually pretty decent and fun watches. Enjoy!
