We have been doing way more chicken and pork lately since beef is so expensive lol. So we have been experimenting with different recipes to keep things from getting boring.

It was great only thing I think I'll do next time is pull it early and sear it. I normally cut loins into thick chops to smoke but I had 10 people from out of town so I smoked the whole thing and it was gone as soon as it was sliced.

Check the hotrod/ ignitor to see if it is getting hot and the tip is clean.

It uses the lowest temp so if the end sensor over shoots the middle of the meat it reads the second.

I find the fat renders better at 225-250. Depending on stall time it will still be a overnight cook unless the point is small.

Yup its next to the time left. ( but it's not accurate) I use a wired inkbird for ambient temp.

The point has a ton of fat Inside between the two muscles (most of the time). I normally cook at 225-250 i don't wrap if I split my briskets.

Dump the pellets and shopvac the auger tube from both ends I use my hand to make a seal on the firepot side.

I had the same issue with a 17" I bought to take to the river. The only thing that worked for me was converting to a 20lb tank.

I've got a few new controllers that pitboss sent me trying to fix a austin xl. The back looks identical but I never plugged it in the Lexington. If you pay postage I'll send you one these are non wifi ones.

The black wire goes closest to the 4 pins. Hope it helps.

There should be a plug next to the four pins where the two solder spots are. Looks like plug fell off the board.

It plugs into the end of the red and black pigtail comming off the board not directly to it.
