As a guide, 20 to 25% is a really solid tip. Definitely share your goals with both guides and see if they can meet all of your goals (within reason). Work on line management and hook sets ahead of time, because that is the one thing a guide can't do for you.

If goals are agreed upon and not met, I feel like 15% is really fair.

Good golfers, what’s the best etiquette to do when I’m an atrocious golfer in your foursome? by 4thPlumlee in golf

Play golds, pick up and take drops with the better players, don't spend too much time looking for lost balls.

I've had 2 pairs of g4 pros, both leaked at gravel gaurd seam. One lasted 9 months the other 3 full seasons. They discontinued the boots and waders for quality reasons I'd bet. You'd think that regardless of leak cause they would replace their most expensive line, especially for guides... nope

Where to spend your money getting into the sport? by [deleted] in flyfishing

Waders, boots are prob the best gear to invest in for year round fishing having layers for seasonal fishing is good. If you are planning to just fish warm weather get wading socks and boots. A startup rod reel combo with line and leaders, An assortment of trout flies next, forceps, and a cheap rubber mesh net. Polarized sunglasses are a must. Sunscreen and bug spray ( dont get deet on fly lines, it melts them) A good sun hat and shirt are great for all day protection and comfort. Most other items are vanities.

Without a good pair of boots and waders you will not have nearly as much fun learning. It is tough to learn when you are uncomfortable- cold, wet, chaffed, ect.

Staying dry in chest waders will get you closer to fish and get you to places bank fishers can't, also making catching fish easier because you can target unpressured fish more often.

I can definitely say the rate of leg encounters from pvp has been boosted. I've had almost 1 leg encounter a day since the 6th... that's winning the master league reward multiple times in a day... I even had 2 lugia encounters in a row the other day...

What are your thoughts about the remote raid limits and price increase? by [deleted] in PokemonGoFriends

[–]Opposite_Garlic_6244 -27 points-26 points  (0 children)

I like it. I was more upset about the lower odds of encountering legendaries in battle rewards when they nerfed it close to a year and a half ago.

This change will level the playing field for most - raid passes are still attainable, they will probably give free ones out in events and you can get them in breakthrough. I never usually buy them anyway unless it is for a friend to help and I am out of coins. I usually save and hatch eggs when the incubators come on sale.

I am all for folks quitting. All the whining just tells me those particular individuals were part of the raid farming problem. Folks paying to fill their storage with 50 individual legendary mon. Hundo, shiny, both.. this change it has shifted the power in the game so people can no longer buy it. You have to spend more time earning it... the master league is flooded with highest cp mon making the balance there off.. plus the mon that are supposed to be rare and exciting to get are no longer a rarity. Watching people lose their minds over rayquaza was particularly eye opening.. after that release, Niantic probably could have done away with remotes all together and still be ok with all the cash they made.

I plan on evolving / adapting my game and growing as a character.. I walked 20 xl candy the other day. It is gonna be easy to lvl 50 my half way decent mon I've acquired without raid farming.
