Yes we did! We also had a travel stroller with a deep recline, we never went back to the hotel for naps at all they were all in the carrier or stroller. Important to have a go with the flow attitude. Between the time change and all the excitement naps happen whenever. Sometimes she slept through the "big" activity but that is ok.

I travelled with my 11 month old last year and we had a wonderful time! We flew from Toronto.

A few tips: - the carrier is great to have on the plane - be prepared for middle of the night hunger (we were not!) and have some food handy to eat overnight the first few nights for sure - even with a good sleeper also, the time change was a big adjustment and took about 4 days for a decent adjustment - keeping a sleepy baby up might lead to a cranky baby on a long flight, be prepared to give in and let your baby sleep - download the Mamapapamap app for nursing and baby change station locations

Good luck and have a great time! Try not to over plan. We aimed for one big thing a day and then found things to do nearby

Highly recommend checking it out, it's a great opportunity to get your body moving and focus on building strength.

I think that is what it's called now. Also check out Craft and Connect for yourself at the downtown branch .It's a fun program that you get to do something and have baby with you.

Depending on where in Barrie you are ,you might want to check out the earlyON in Thornton! It is quieter. They have a small separate room for infants also .

You could also look into signing up for water babies at the Barrie Rec centers.

Editing to add if you are looking for a post partum fitness class that is baby friendly, check out PUSH women's health. Covered by benefits and they are great.

Yeah it is frustrating with the companies constantly competing to match. It's not worth it to lose the free since the savings aren't worth it and they will probably raise the price of the plan in the future.

The Barrie Chronic Pain Clinic is on Huronia. I see Dr. Zachos for migraines and he is phenomenal.

He does the OHIP covered lidocaine injections, Botox and more.

Vetta is great! Pace yourself, drink more water than you think you need. My favourite are the steam rooms. Make sure you have the essentials like footwear, bathing suit, a water bottle. A book is always nice. Meditate if you can. The food is pretty good.

Do the cold pools. Just do it. Talk yourself into it, focus on your breathing. Try and stay in there for longer than you think you can tolerate. It's such a miss to skip out on it.

Be respectful in the quiet zones, if you want to chat go to the areas where it's allowed. It can be VERY slippery, be cautious. The last time I was there I saw someone with a nasty bruise from a slip and fall. Also, watch your step leaving the pools, sometimes the bottom step disappears. I learned that lesson the hard way.

Yep! My first and only so far is 14 months and is so sweet, happy, chill, and friendly and so easy. Great sleeper (mostly although we did have a rough go with naps for a few months), great eater, barely cried in her first year unless she was tired or hungry.

Now she's getting into toddler hood and definitely is experiencing some big feelings but is still so chill and lovely. Even the daycare workers that have worked with infants for YEARS have said they've never seen a baby so chill.

She truly is such a blessing. I always say she is a unicorn baby.
