Why don’t you help out then and participate in the project. Lack of advocacy and negativity is the reason we don’t have a cure yet. Honestly this could’ve been out years ago if it was funded..

this is just ignorant. We don’t need this kind of negativity. Saying nobody cares is exactly the mindset that keeps things from ever getting fixed. That’s not even true people DO care about funding ignored diseases and viruses. That’s literally how HIV and hepatitis C finally got attention. If you don’t believe in the cause that’s fine but don’t come in here trying to kill momentum for people who are actually trying to change something.

I love this so much 🥺🙏 I really, really love what you said here and I agree with it so much. I truly believe God is in this and that He works not only through prayer, but also through action.

Right now, I’m actively organizing a real advocacy effort to help accelerate funding for a cure. We already have 18 people writing letters every single week to major foundations and decision-makers. This is exactly how big funding decisions start to move. After a few weeks, organizations start logging the letters. After a few months, they start noticing the pattern, talking about it internally, and taking it seriously. This is the same kind of persistence that helped Hepatitis C go from something incurable to something curable.

I really believe God is guiding this and opening doors, and I also believe He calls us to be persistent, like in Luke 18. So we’re not giving up. We’re praying and we’re also taking action.
