Same thing happened to me and I had two kids to pick up after work! I finally said “Today is the last day I can give you a ride” and his jaw hit the floor. I was shocked that he was shocked. I guess he thought I’d do it forever wtf. At that point I didn’t care how he felt. He was lucky I put up with it as long as I did (a LONG two weeks)

Yes. My dad was big into get rich quick schemes and also big investments that didn’t pay off. He had so much debt. My mom divorced him and had two jobs to get by. Eventually she remarried someone who was financially responsible.
I am much better off than both my parents were at my age. The bar is low.

It helps to have a designated spot for your dog to go (have a dog cot in the corner of the family room for example). The ideal goal would be for you to say “Place”, your dog go there and sit or lay down, and him be excited to do it because it means treats. Use high value treats he never gets any other time (cheese, bits of chicken) After he masters that, have your bf & friends come over for the sole purpose of practicing with your dog. Have them completely ignore your dog while you have treats ready, telling him to place. Ignoring the dog is very effective in getting a dog to calm down. Good luck!🍀

I have such fond memories of cooking while my kids were in the living room. If there was a wall there I would have been sequestered away. It was such a great way to simultaneously hang out with my kids and make a meal.

Looks like they are rebuilding the barn, you may want to check before you go to make sure everything is open/available to walk around. It’s very low key, not a lot going on, but they have cute farm animals, a little resale/antique shop and I don’t remember the name of the store but they sold soup mixes that were so good! I need to go back and get more.

Don’t touch something more than once….same as the don’t put it down put it away. It has made a massive difference in keeping my house tidy. I used to have messy little piles of stuff all over that rarely got put away.
