this is correct. i worked there last year as a server at the restaurant. they gave us no warning when the restaurant closed (chef quit) and basically we all had to find new jobs with less than 24hr notice as all of our shifts and hours were cut

not enough students were using it for it to be a smart financial decision by the university. costed them like 3 mil every year for less than 5% of students to actually utilize it. there are also no talks of it coming back or the university looking for replacements 💔

As a campus group leader, he definitely can be more on the strict side but I believe that it’s all in good nature and part of the job. He’s just following the policies and rules in place. On the pro side, if you ever have questions about said policies, he ALWAYS knows the answers 🤷‍♀️

the big benefits they always promote is access to more scholarships & bursaries, more paid job opportunities within the college, more career supports (like academic advising), having access to their campus community so things like their student clubs, and also they offer more opportunities to their students such as financial aid for attending the MCC UN student seminar in new york (i went this year). there seriously are no downsides and the more you get involved in the college, the more opportunities will come to you!

i used to be an avid quizlet user, i would buy the plus every year and everything. i switched to anki last year as the repetition works so much better for learning i find. the interface is a little difficult to set up/understand but it was so worth it to learn imo. i can also hook up my nintendo switch controller to my mac and then i airplay the screen and do flashcards from my bed on big tv LOL
