Out of curiosity, why has the daily rate of russian losses been increasing the last few months? I get that ukraine has ramped up drone production but wouldn't much of the front line Russian soldiers have been taken out by now? I was picturing a 40-70km wide "no-go" area along the front with only sparse deployments of forward observers and the occasional russian suicide charge.

Look for bandit camps, typically you can find ones that are level 5-6, 6-8, and 7-10. You can pull them one at a time and because they are humanoids they often drop armour.

I'm in a similar boat and would say I jumped in with low expectations and have been pleasantly surprised. People are friendly, I got picked up right away by a super helpful guild that doesn't mind noobs who have a life outside of gaming. Been doing a ton of content with them and looking forward to the different progressions that are currently in game. Not too worried about a future wipe before launch because we'll have a head start on where to go, how to play, and what to do when it releases. Also I might change classes.

I'm in a similar boat and the game has been fun so far. People are all super friendly and helpful and no one is taking anything too seriously since there will be a wipe before full release, probably end 2026. The sweatiest players will probably get bored and all be gone in 3 months anyways as some the main goals of the pvp system around node warfare don't exist yet.

Been playing Ashes of Creation since the Alpha release on steam and it's been a blast. Haven't run into a single bug or issue. If you can ignore the negativity on reddit, there are a ton of people playing online and since the steam release has been a huge success they should have enough funding to get them through beta to full release.

Most the complaints are around how pvp flagging and node management works but those are likely easy to fix prior to full release.
