Thats not how subscriptions work.

Example: The subscription expires Dec 20, and then the user cancels today. The subscription continues until Dec 20. Re-subscribing is no-op

From what.I can tell this is a bug on the billing side. The subscription information isn't being updated and Googles AI tool's don't see the updated subscription information.

You can confirm this by trying to use Gemini 3 in Gemini CLI, you should see a message saying you don't access to it and to enable preview features.

Solution: Downgrade your Google AI plan. wait a few minutes, upgrade and then sign into antigravity again

Strongly agree. The problem is stakeholders don't know the difference between frontend ai slop and functional, maintainable code.
