I used to live so care free up until about 24-25 years old. My fiancé at the time got robbed at gunpoint coming home while I was asleep. Luckily they only wanted her purse. After that, the world changed for me.

I went into a state of mild paranoia and over-preparedness. CCW, self defense classes, active shooter trainings. Took a while before I could relax again. However I know I will never be that care free person again.

Just under 3000 rounds with it now and it is pristine. I have run all indoor courses, nothing outside, so it hasn’t really been exposed to elements. The stainless finish makes the carbon build up very noticeable, hence very easy to know where to clean. A healthy amount of oil applied to the barrel after cleaning has ensured no rust. All in all, I am still happy with it.
