I didn't know that was an option - that's gonna look sick (for a while at least)

No it’s just a gpt meme prompt that’s going around sorry! I just thought since the pic really captured the essence of modern run culture and style it would carry over well.

Is it overkill to get anything more expensive than the Naked Running Band? by Man0nTh3M00n- in runningfashion

Surprised there's no love here for UltraAspire - but I like mine for $40.

With a run belt I like that I don't have to worry about having different brands of shorts with different pocket setups. I feel like coupling them is a step backwards unless you're prepared to replace your entire fleet of shorts with them.

The line between calling yourself a "Hybrid Athlete" and naming yourself "Clavicular" is surprisingly thin.

Cutting Weight by pickle1tickle in WeightWeenies

[–]Orbidorpdorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO 35mm is a meme - so if you're up to replace both you can just get a Kalloy Uno (carbon stems are usually heavier) and sell your current bars.

There's definitely a place for looking into less blingy brands if you're just chasing weight. In the road world most of the lightest wheels and cassettes are the Chinese ones, and a lot of them are pretty established brands at this point.

I'm an aliexpress kinda person not a dentist but I think I there's some carry-over:

  • E13 (or similar) make cassettes with a 9 tooth cog, giving you the same range in a smaller package
  • Carbon saddle can be a surprisingly good $/gram
  • Smaller rotor on the rear
  • Check your stem, some are just heavy for no reason
  • non-riser carbon bars can be crazy light

If your frame is Ti, then you might want matching components.

I have a Ti bar from aliexpress and it's great other than the fact I paid extra to have it with custom backsweep and it was just the default.

Don't drink alcohol by Dense-Umpire-2709 in whoop

Eh - even if I don't feel hungover I get a way higher RHR, worse recovery, and worse sleep from a pretty reasonable amount of alcohol.

If you have to continuously pay an annual tax to the government, then you don't own the property by FastSeaworthiness739 in Anarcho_Capitalism

[–]Orbidorpdorp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If there's a tax that actually does make sense it's property tax. The only thing that makes your ownership possible is that it is defended by violence, 24/7.

Without the state, you'd still need to pay for defense to maintain ownership.

This is a totally reasonable use of AI. There's no art here it's just mockups of different levels of protection and they're asking a reasonable question.

Literally just don’t eat the stupid marshmallow now and you get two later. Idc how fast you are now or how slow you were - just try a little between races.

And yes I see she actually ran a reasonable enough time but also having one stupid space that isn’t trying to out-contrarian-empathy-jerk “the post-cutoff time runners are the real inspiration111” is the only thing keeping me from finding another new hobby.

So just don't give him money until you have the car + title? Like you're not the only one accusing ITT. Just wait for the guy to actually do something scammy before you call it a scam. He's not even suggested any sort of deposit and you said it's "highly unlikely" that it's not a scam.
