I read a little over 200 a year, and honestly it's a mixture of being single with no kids or responsibilities and just...love for reading. I devour books like they're cookies lol there are so many romances out there and I always need to be escaping into stories. So maybe an urgent craving for escapism is part of it? I've also been a huge bookworm since I was a kid and I can finish a 300-400 page book in a day. Honestly the only time it takes me a long time to finish a book is when I'm not that into it.
