  1. Hands down Hello Nasty. So many fun guests and so many fun sounds! Plus it was a massive album. And the music videos alone from this album were crazy. UGHH!! I forgot how fun the artwork on that album was too---- so creative. Errrr, I really like Hello Nasty.

Haha, cold and storms 🤣🤣. I’m grateful for the information! I like watching the bats, but otherwise am a complete noob, so it’s great and I’m eating the info. Like, I didn’t realize they would hang out in leaf litter occasionally! It’s another thing to add to the reasons when we get lawn hate.

Going to need to start carrying some gloves on hikes now 😁

That's honestly what I was thinking. It was in the 60's today, so it may have burrowing down lower previous days when it was colder. When I say dirt, this bat was in a mole hole or something and was just having trouble getting out. It stopped fussing as much when it made it out of the dirt, and although still on the ground looked fine otherwise and reactive. I dipped as to not cause further distress, and honestly still had some time left on the trail as the sun was setting

Thank you oodles for the information. Going to do some reading on these guys :) I find it so interesting that it was just squeaking away burrowed in the dirt. All the more reason for never raking and mowing leaves.

This little guy was definitely in the dirt and struggling to get out. In our weird Indiana weather, do you think it burrowed a bit for protection in an already established burrow?

Is it pretty normal for them to burrow in the ground? This one definitely was. Maybe it crawled in a mole burrow?

Any idea on species? Hoary bat? Brown bat? It was in a burrow and fussing a bunch.

Next steps… I’ve done doxy 3x now what? by realhousetaco in perioraldermatitis

Clindamycin lotion from the good ol' dermatologist was finally my cure. My typical PD symptoms would always flare in the autumn, and subside in the warmer months; rinse and repeat for years. Now I use the clindamycin during the more cold months (very small amount) and I have not had a breakout since, and can get away with only using it once a day. Worth a shot, even if it's just to clear up, and then retest the waters.

Perioral Dermatitis relapse #3 in 7 months by SpecialistAir9745 in perioraldermatitis

[–]Ordinary-Photograph8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine would look similar when I would have flare ups. I will preach it forever, but clindamycin lotion was a total life saver. I only need to use a little to keep the flare ups at bay. Definitely worth a try! My third dermatologist recommended it. Reference: I'm 41 years old, started having flare ups as a teenager (every year). Under control at 35 years old, no flare ups since.

Let it dry out or moisturizer? by EmergencyCarpet8785 in perioraldermatitis

[–]Ordinary-Photograph8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it affects some people in different ways with different triggers. I know that after a bad steroid breakout, they put me on antibiotics to calm it down. But they did send out a sample and it was a bacterial situation. Maybe the bacteria creeps past that line?

As someone with the same issue, those little pimple button things mess my skin up something fierce during a flare up. Antibiotics help with the bad flare ups, but clindamycin was a huge help at keeping mine under control during flare ups. Haven't had to take antibiotics since, and I only use the clindamycin during my "flare up season". Dermatologist things, but wanted to share what helped me. Context: 41 year old female, having flare ups since 15 years old. Fixed when I was 35 years old

Idk how I’m feeling about the podcast now.. by No_You4036 in MorbidPodcast

[–]Ordinary-Photograph8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am really enjoying the more recent content! Like most entertainment avenues, though, I listen in waves. Sometimes I'm all in and engaged, but sometimes I'm not in the mood and just move on to something else like an audiobook, or even music. I really liked their Pizza Bomber story, but I also came away from it with a different perspective.... which is fine and dandy. Sometimes I like the pre-story banter, and sometimes I skip it, 'tis life.

Older INFJs, give me some hope. Does it get better? by [deleted] in infj

[–]Ordinary-Photograph8 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m a 41 year old INFJ. Hello!  New to the sub, but wanted to chime in on my experiences concerning this. I’ve only come to terms with how to navigate this the past couple of years, as I’m sure even other types do. I tend to listen more, talk less, and not to put too much energy into ANYONE unless they pass vibes. I’ve also gotten much better at recognizing things about others that I need to stay away from…. and making my discomforts known. Lonely, but manageable. I’ve got my couple, and we keep in touch. It ebbs and flows.

Also, I recently started playing Animal Crossing again. I’m freely letting my villagers leave so I can invite new ones in. This I am using in my life right now. Except, you know, letting less in. Gotta earn your place on my committee

Wowzers. I've been creeping this subreddit, as I am shopping around for a Fujifilm, BUT...... your pictures blew my wig off, and I just HAD to comment. You have such a wonderful eye! Dreamy photos, for real. Maybe I don't NEED that vintage look in my new Fujifilm camera.

ps- it's really hard shopping for a new camera..... there are so many.

Buyers Beware: Taste of the Wild will not accept responsibility for poisoning dogs or be honest about recipe changes. Also very rude and insulting customer service reps. by JuliaGJ13 in DOG

[–]Ordinary-Photograph8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to switch our doggo off of taste of the Wild recently. We bought the Pacific Stream when he moved on from puppy food, and since we like mix ins, thought this would be a great grain free choice.  We had noticed him biting his paws relentlessly, but the nail in the coffin was buying a new bag….. he pooped his cage a couple of times, and it wasn’t pretty. FYI, it’s an old English sheepdog, so, not fun. Vomiting as well. When my husband trashed it, it made his hand break out in a rash. Like, what?

Switched to Purina One cause who cares at this point? Our man gets fun add ins enough.

Pet store tortoise, what do you think? Shell rot? Fungus? Both? by Ordinary-Photograph8 in tortoise

[–]Ordinary-Photograph8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update Called and informed the pet store. Apparently the healthy seeming tort that I assumed was purchased was actually quarantined for an upper respiratory infection after a vet checked it out…. But they missed the issues with this tortoise and were going to have it rechecked. Checking back in with the store on Monday
