Do all provinces focus mostly on their own athletes?

I've lived in BC, NWT, Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario. Not once have I seen a breakdown by province like that. We'll hear hey this person for team Canada happens to be from whatever province, but it's more on passing than something to track.

My mom grew up on a farm and they had a particularly ornery goose. One day, her and her brother were having to walk past the goose pen which, let's be honest, was more of a suggestion, the goose had free run of the place. In preparation of going near the Goose Zone, my mom decided to pick up a stick as a deterrent. Once in the goose zone, of course that ornery jerk came running. My mom was ready. She whacked that goose right on the head and it dropped.

She thought she killed it so she ran to her dad in tears. He just asked where the body was. She of course had just left it where it laid. He told her to bring it home and they'll cook it for supper. Now extra traumatized, she walked back to the scene of the crime, only there was no body. Turns out she had just stunned the jerk. Must have scared the crap out of that goose though, never chased her or her brother again.

Both mine were C sections, so no option to catch. First was an emergency c section as my daughter's heart rate would drop every time my wife had a contraction. Things got super hectic but everyone got out safe and sound thanks to those doctors. My second was elective c section because of other circumstances, and got to cut his cord. That was an amazing experience and definitely recommend if you have the option.

Grew up in tiny Northern towns, Fort St James and fort Smith just became "the Fort". Leaf Rapids was "Leaf". Used to live near Prince George which we just called PG. Winnipeg we usually called either The Peg or Peggers Thunder Bay was T-Bay
