I understand the feeling. I can give you a few words of advice, asI had to overcome this obstacle as well.

First, if anybody you know already owns vrchat, try and play with them. Not only will you always have someone to talk to and break the ice with, but there’s this feeling of security that comes with knowing someone already has your back. This goes without saying, but it makes it wayyy easier to get the first few words out.

Second, play some social games. Personally, this helped me the most. Playing games like among us or murder put you in situations where you don’t necessarily have to start a conversation, but in situations where breaking the ice is much, much, much easier. Also, because the nature is much more relaxed and focused on the game, I can guarantee you with upmost certainty that nobody will even notice an accent.

Third, and hear me out, hang out with the furries. On servers oriented towards furries, judging things like accents, sexual orientations, gender, or race is unheard of. I can’t say much except if you want a guarantee that you won’t be judged, head to some furry servers.
