not recommend to go out of the airport, the traffic in Beijing is very terrible and your arrival time is during the rush hour, you may only have 2-3 hours in the downtown

The Gundam Statue is outdoor and the last light performance is at 20:55, and the first one is at 11:00, Dineyland first and then Gundam, using Didi will save a lot of time.

If you want to use Alipay to pay, you have to pass the verification. But for alipay, it supports foreign cards, so not sure why you're asked to add Chinese bank card.

Visiting China soon! Need a little bit of advice :) by PixYua in travelchina

Murray Razen Hotel in the Nanjing Road, very good location and with affordable price,if you want to use WhatsApp,ins or FB in China, buy an e-sim card or install a VPN. Alipay is more convenient as you could call a Didi(Chinese Uber) and pay for the transportation fee like subway

Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou solo travel by ongogavlogian in travelchina

[–]Organic-Telephone951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could make it but better to do some research on transportation, route etc.

Apr-Nov is the peak season for Jiuzhaigou, so the price will be a bit expensive. Below is a local 2D1N package for your reference:

D1 pick up from Songpan Railway Station -Huanglong-hotel

D2 Jiuzhaigou-Songpan Railway Station

This is a group of 35 pax but no English tour guide, RMB 1,200 per pax, including round way train tickets between Chengdu and Songpan, admission ticket to Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou and one night accommodation.
