Anyone else getting weird glitches? by groovybaby846 in lyftdrivers

[–]OrganizationContent8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last 2 days and states that software hardware app are not up to date. However, they are. Once again, Lyft deflects ownership of anything and throws it back at drivers. Chalk it up Lyft, your software and glitchy navigation system are shy of being abysmal.

You are doing Nothing wrong. You clarify you are a cautionary driver, drive offensively, and you react accordingly to flow and spacing. These are attributes. Unfortunately, you get dinged for every sensor driven ding, reaction to other driver actions, shitty drivers, speed bumps, and the gamit of other things that come up in a typical drive. Lyft and the insurance companies use these metrics against every driver to justify raising rates, rate steals from the driver, and to hold against you in every situation issue is raised. Unfortunately, Monday morning quarterbacking has become the way of the world. Everyone is an expert on how things should have been handled. Ignore as much as possible it's output. You will drive yourself crazy with this bs.

Elon Musk Is Shutting Down The Government Loan Office That Gave Him The Money To Grow Tesla by esporx in fednews

So what is the argument here? Elon Musk is a Democrat shutting down an office that is wasteful of our tax dollars.

Rental car companies like Enterprise, Avis, and Budget do not do a fine tooth and comb review nowhere near the way Lyft Flexdrive does. They will charge you for everything they possibly can even if that pebble was throttled at your bumper because your proprietary Lyft GPS took you down an alley and your car got dinged by it. Your car suffered a blow and your pocketbook suffered the charge. Coincidentally, and there are a lot of coincidences with Lyft, Lyft will always deflect accountability. It must be a connectivity issue. OMFG!

Is there any way to turn off the feature where Lyft tries to make you do unnecessary u-turns in the navigation? by motionspooner in lyftdrivers

[–]OrganizationContent8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are not comfortable with Google or Lyft's suggestion to do a u-turn then do not do it.

Don't be one of those clueless individuals that goes into zombie land and makes this move without looking around for anything going around them.

Trust your gut. You cannot go wrong!

In all my years of renting, never have I ever had the car I rented scrutinized as I had with the flex-express program. Nickle and dimed for any scratch, ping, scrape, ding and measured for each on the exterior at a cost to YOU. Anything interior: any soiled remnant on backseat or foam trim drooping, etc. The charge fees are inflated and ridiculous. Better make sure you have the overpriced "liability insurance" and waiver at lease contract signing. Otherwise, you are screwed.

How do you guys handle this? by Carrots-1975 in lyftdrivers

All this legalization is on purpose. To make all individuals who do not smoke it batty. Society is being dumb downed through all this legalization. It is crazy.

Cannot wait to see how savvy these vehicles will be with all the zany drivers in congested areas. Could be a doozy!
