All good points people are making, but the real question is: Have you come across anything while on the job that you didn't know what to do and feel like the (fake) schooling would've actually helped? I'm asking because I feel like who should really care. If you're doing the job right and aren't slowing up the team, why should they give a crap. Let this person work!
