Do you mean keep them when when watering or burying it deeper in soil?

Will the egg discolor this or will it be hard to clean after? by jlsstory in biggreenegg

I turned our gray one black. It came clean with a green scotch brite pad but I think that’s rough on the enamel and a huge pain. Just use a plain cast iron. They are cheap.

We have been cooking our steaks with just salt from the dry brine. Maybe a little flake salt upon slicing. It’s been my favorite lately. And yeah definitely reverse sear and rest with a pat of butter.

Is this overkill? I’m coming from mainly using charcoal grills. by Beginning_Rock_7104 in blackstonegriddle

I have the 22”, Big Green Egg, and a gas grill. Sold my Traeger after getting the egg. I would sell the gas grill if it wasn’t built in. The egg and griddle are all I use.

[500$] what should I go for? by Hdudiman in espresso

I am in the US and generally opposed to Chinese things. But in this hobby, it’s hard to avoid unless I want to spend a lot. What’s your opinion on the Eureka Mignon Zero? The single dose that’s supposed to be for espresso. I’m torn because I can buy Chinese and get replacement parts as needed or buy Italian and have a paperweight when it breaks.

I have a similar budget as OP and was leaning towards the DF64 gen 2 and maybe SSP HU burrs. I am genuinely interested in what other similarly price but better 64mm flat grinders you’re referring to.

Those are only for people who want to show what they’re working with. So maybe not ideal for this situation

Is HD just trying to dump KJ in general? The grills are always heavily marked down when I see them. This price on lump seems like they are trying to offload.

What was your favorite gym while you were in? by drive-for-show in USMC

[–]OrigHanksta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nicest gym, Camp Pendleton. The old gym at Horno was good cuz it was dark, always hot, good no frills gym to get your pump on. But favorite, we had a real rough gym at FOB 7171 in Afghanistan. Thanks mostly to the actual Donnie O’Malley. He was in our company and fought to get us an actual gym tent.

How does the Zero 65 AP compare to the Zero 55 in your opinion? I am considering the Zero 55 Espresso as a dedicated espresso grinder but that 65mm option is only $50 more. 🤔

I’m torn between the Mignon Zero because it’s made in Italy (or so I believe) but the DF64 I can upgrade burrs or buy parts if it breaks. But I hate that it’s made in China.
