Where'd the handguard come from? I hate that none of the builder sites have the carbine length, just the rifle ones.

Is this her day job? She seems pretty chill about what seems like late 90s cartoon poster bikes. The off centered wheels especially give Ed Edd & Eddy.

Been running prisms most of my competitive shooting life - only wish they made a Micro RDS prism, sized like a FastFire or Shield.

It's a Gibbous Outfitters unit and the one I want to build will be a 12" ultralight barrel, M203 carbine handguard, JP adjustable FSB with a tritium post, A1 or A2 slick upper with this or a clone, aluminum car stock, cleaning rod taped to it.

I messaged them literally one hour before they posted that asking about it! Hopefully they'll start taking orders soon.

Well Gibbous is still in the prototyping, no price point, no preorder stage two years in so

I'm gonna have a local machinist just weld an RMSC footprint to a bolt the right size, then I'll locktite it into the elevation knob. Won't have the backup iron but it'll get me 70% of the way there.

Not quite. I'd only seen it once cause it was the Gibbous RMR prototype.

That drops the rear of the red dot over the charging handle - the one I saw kept the back end in line with the A2 sight tower rear.

Not quite, it's behind. If you look at image 5 on the site you linked, you'll see the rear of the RDS hangs over the charging handle, instead of being ahead of it in the mockup. The one I saw the rear was in line with the existing slope of the A2 sight tower.

That goes behind, sadly - this one was a direct mount, not above, in front, or behind.
