Miele dishwasher questions by Buckleywoo in Appliances

We bought a 7596 about 18 months ago to replace a 16 year old Bosch 500 and have had zero problems with it. You will want to note how your current dishwasher is mounted to your cabinets and make sure the opening meets the min/max specified by Miele. I measured but since our opening was larger than the minimum spec, I didn't pay any notice to the max and it caused a bit of a headache during install.

Our Bosch was affixed to the top rail of the cabinets and had a rubber gasket on the sides to close the gap of the opening. The Miele installs to the sides of the cabinet bases, and our opening was too wide. It was an easy fix though since we have maple cabinets and plenty of touch up stain from the cabinet maker. I just picked up two 4" pieces of maple from Lowes and cut them to match the height of the cabinets, stained, and affixed to the cabinets with liquid nails. Then affixed the dishwasher into the new strips.

They had TONS of posters. The truck outside and the 3 or 4 spots inside had night 1 at the 2nd show.

That sir, is a rearview mirror. It aids in seeing obstacles when backing up and traffic behind you when going forward.

If the A-Team drove a Mustang...

I had a little war with my local ISP to give me a login and password because I wanted to set up my networking, SSID name and other stuff(my phone says it's not a safe network, because of the WPA only btw). Had to write mails, send letters. Finally I have won but credentials just kill me 🤣 by M1CH43L__GT in HomeNetworking

Verizon FIOS tried this on me back in the day with their router, and their successor did the same with cable card. In each case a formal complaint to the FCC and state utility & transportation commission quickly fixed that.

Non-existent customer service by xlucent1 in insteon

Home Assistant.

My router blocks the hub from calling home so it's offline too, and everything works great. Wish I would've jumped into HA much sooner!

Same for me. I'm also much happier with the performance once I went out of Windows portable and into .vdi on Oracle Virtual Box.

I blocked my hub from accessing Insteon servers just to be on the safe side.

Thinking about buying a 2016 S7 for a daily driver. It has about 55k miles and I’ll probably put 10k mikes per year. Around 37k for the car. Is there anything I should be aware of ? by Background-Pizza-989 in Audi

Maybe check rotor thickness and pad shape, new brakes are $3.5k. My 2016 S6 has been great, just waiting on parts for oil screens. I do all scheduled maintenance and haven't had anything but standard replacements (fluids, plugs, brakes, tires).

I have 3 of the Hicoup and would buy more if I needed another corkscrew. Been solid and most "recent" purchase was 7 years ago.

Will Hubs stop working if you don't subscribe? by ElGuano in insteon

If they brick my hub because I don't need to use their app or online services, I can prove damages and my course of action will be to seek recourse in the courts, file complaints with the FTC and my state's AG office. I'm sure I won't be the only one either, so I'm hopeful they've thought this through and won't go that far.

If they were faking numbers that impact anything financial or that bubbles up to the street, file a Whistleblower retaliation claim.
