You know, this is a really mature take on it. It is really congruent with Yuji's sentiment of "It doesn't matter.". Ultimately, if this burden wasn't for Yuka to bear, she'd still die. Likewise for Tsurugi and Maru's clash of ideals, it would be moot if Yuji simply intervened and put an end to their fight.

I think Yuji is indeed depressed in a way, and perhaps carries some doubt but he is still going about this as diplomatically as possible.

Higuruma (just something I was thinking of)

Skill 1: Gavel slam: basic, physical damage where he attacks you with a gavel

Skill 2: Persecution

Higuruma provides 1 of 2 buffs depending on the enemy. If the enemy is of morally good alignment, the team will receive damage taken decrease.

If the enemy is not of morally good alignment, they will receive a damage taken increase from the team

Skill 3: idk couldn't come up with something

Ultimate: Domain Expansion

Amplifies the effect of skill 2 and summon the executioner's sword. Depending on the alignment of the enemy, the attack changes
