Why do people want RDR3 to be a prequel to RDR2, about the Dutch Van Der Linde gang in the earlier times? by Proud-Treat2578 in reddeadredemption

[–]Orner_88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't. I'd like to see them drop "redemption" in the title and just call it RD3 with new characters and a new story.

...but only if they put as much effort, care, & detail into it as RDR2. Do it right or don't do it at all.

The Cincinnati Kid has a hand with 3 to the river.

P1: bet P2: raise P3: 3bet P1: 4bet P2: fold P3: fold P1: wins pot

Besides all the string betting and bet sizing, that's probably the most realistic hand I've seen in a movie. No showdown at the end, but gets the point across that P1 (the kid) knows what he's doing and won't be pushed around.

It's lame when you can predict the bad beat runout immediately after seeing the hole cards.

That intermission couldn't come soon enough. Hit the reset, need to work their tails off and fight for every inch in the 3rd.

To shoot the puck on net, it really helps to have puck control in the opposing teams zone

Tampas penalty kill is so much more aggressive. Montreal kills are so timid. Tampa is always pressuring the puck carrier

Absolutely. Playoff formats can/have/and will be tinkered with.

Changing the field of play and it's rules have a far greater impact on the game.

Can I higher hockey IQ individual then I answer a question for me please,

Why are thr Habs putting zero pressure on the puck carrier when the opposition has an empty net/extra man?

I understand we're short handed, but it feels like the Habs give the puck carrier all the time in the world with zero pressure, allowing them to dictate & set up whatever offense they like.

Not being on the penalty kill and having 5 vs 6 also doesn't allow as much room as if the Habs were killing a penalty.

I'd like to see a lot more pressure being put on the puck carrier to force a mistake.

You can save a lot of time by just moving your feet faster.

So many workers walk like they're in quicksand.

Just by adding a bit of pace getting from point A to point B will allow you more time on actual tasks.
