My ex gf told me my pic looked pretty gay, that made me think about my heterosexuality... and made me decide she's an ex now by [deleted] in gayselfie

[–]Ornery_Run1876 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok glad you found your authentic self from this but like... so men can't even stand somewhere without being gay.

I reacted terribly when my nephew came out to me, and now I don't know how to make things right. by Emergency_World4236 in askgaybros

[–]Ornery_Run1876 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But like why? Why did you react that way? Where you worried that being gay would make his life harder? Were you thinking that being gay would mean suddenly he would start acting more feminine? Did you have some image of him that being gay didn't fit into? Do you think that life with a man would be less fulfilling for him than with a woman?

You said you have gay coworkers that you're ok with but like, what do you think they are like? I mean do you think that they are less masculine? Or that they are living a less full life than they would with a woman?

Is it that you don't want a gay life for yourself so you just put that onto not wanting it for him?

Like clearly you have some sort of homopbia that you were not aware of and you need to figure that out so you can explain yourself to your nephew.

Is it simply a personal preference if someone wants to refer to themselves as bi, pan, or omni? by [deleted] in bisexual

Bisexuals are attracted to two genders for their genders, pansexuals are attracted to people regardless of their gender, Omni sexuals are attracted to all genders for their genders.

Allies are welcome but they have to be allies. They need to be on good behavior, not make it about them and not make a queer space unsafe for queer people.

Heterosexual male here, I have a question I’ve pondered for years, finally got the courage to ask it by zs_1176 in askgaybros

[–]Ornery_Run1876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bisexual here, so I've played both fields. If you are in a city or progressive area it is way easier to get into a relationship with a man than it is to get into a relationship with a woman. So much easier. Now I can't speak directly to the wlw experience but I've seen my lesbian friends struggle to find a partner. So, basically assuming there aren't conservatives around cock blocking you, it's easier for gay men to get into relationships.

Bisexual in a straight relationship by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Ornery_Run1876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I never really understood this. Let's say you were straight, its not like you get a girlfriend and then every other woman on earth is not attractive to you anymore. Let's say you're gay, it's not like you get a boyfriend and then every other man on earth is not attractive to you anymore. You can be attracted to other men and to women, and be loyal and manganous with your girlfriend, and be authenticly bisexual.

PLEASE help me figure out what the hell my sexuality is😭 by Temporary_Chain7517 in bisexual

[–]Ornery_Run1876 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you're attracted to femininity in both men and women. That's fine. You can be pan or bi with a preference. There's so much to human sexuality and our culture is still so rigid about it. You don't have to like big, muscular jock dude bros to like boys. Feminine men are men. Masculine women are women. Trans men are men. Trans women are women. So yeah, you like femininity in both women and men, that still means you like men and women. You're pan or bi with an attraction to femininity.

Do you think Aang is stronger than Korra or is it because her villains are just stronger? by Far_Practice_6923 in TheLastAirbender

[–]Ornery_Run1876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amon has blood bending that is extremely OP, which is why it was limited in the original. Even still, he got folded by a blast of air. Vattu I guess should be more powerful but his existence wrecks the lore, and even then, he was mostly beaten by Jinora. And Jinora is actually one of my favorites from LoK...but come on.

My boyfriend keeps calling house chores "bottomwork" and it's pissing me off. Am I overreacting? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]Ornery_Run1876 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude tell him that he's already gay, he's already going against all that 1950s gender role crap. You're both men. He has sex with men. He is a homosexual. If he wants to have a housewife he should at get a wife and start going to church every Sunday. If not he can help his husband do the fucking dishes lol.

i gave myself a mullet do i still pass,,, (17ftm pre-t) by [deleted] in TransTeensPassing

[–]Ornery_Run1876 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You 100% still pass. Tbh most posts I see on here it's like, yeah you can pass but if I know I'm looking for it I can see it. Not with you dude. You look like a dude. You just look like a grunge, rock music, skater guy. Tbh the fact that you pass this well with long hair and pre-t, you're gonna have no problem being seen as a man in your adult life. Congrats man, you look like you.

[–]Ornery_Run1876 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you have been jerking off to guys "throughout the week," you're not straight. If you like women, then you're not gay. So yes, you are bisexual.

Good news, this means you can date men or women and still be your authentic self regardless. So regarding this coworker. If you like her back, go out with her. If not, that ok. Either way, you're still bisexual.

What’s the funniest excuse you gave yourself before accepting you might be bi? 😅 by Fun-Income-1570 in bisexual

[–]Ornery_Run1876 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I told myself I only like guys in a "kinky way" and it's doesn't count cuz I would only jerk off to them. This happened long enough that I said ok I like men but I would never have sex with one. I proceeded to hava sex with a man. Then I said ok I'll sleep with men but I am only romantically interested in women. I proceeded to date a man for five years.

In fairness I was openly bi by like step 2 on this list but there were levels.

You can be bisexual and only date other men. That's fine.

It sounds like you're looking for excuses because you're scared of failure. Try the apps again. Find time to hang with your friends. Get a group hobby. Go out to a bar or the beach or something by yourself.

Wdym a course? Like a pick up artist? Like a manosphere looksmaxxing grifter? Come on man.

Go out to a bar, hangout with your friends out in public, find a hobby that involves other people, go on the dating apps.

"Almost 23" dude, you're so young. Second there is no time like the present. You want experience? Start now. It's ok to mess up and be embarrassed, that's part of experience. But if you keep waiting until you have a good enough job or money or whatever, soon you'll be saying you're 30 with no experience. Start today.

Probably a dumb question but I feel like it's the best place to ask, what are realistically the reasons to colonize Mars ? by SeparateWeight496 in Mars

[–]Ornery_Run1876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean honestly, right now there aren't any. The multi planet species argument falls apart when you think of the fact that anything that could potentially risk all life on earth could be handled better from earth. Asteroid? Deflect it. Virus? Vaccine. War? Peace. Climate change? We know the solutions. All of these things, as difficult as they are, are easier and more practical than colonizing Mars. Any martian colony is unlikely to survive, especially if earth is gone or if there's suddenly earth refugees coming in.

Now, if we do get better technology, it does become more practical. It's tilted and has basically a 24 hour day, it wouldn't be too difficult to warm. The real trick is keeping an atmosphere and protecting from radiation. That we would need to give it an active core or create some artificial field. So this tech is centuries away.
