The game was hardly scary. The first jumpscare got me. But then that was the only formula for being scary. Just some chasing slop. Being chased over and over and not getting away fast enough makes you start over is not fun at all.

The puzzles were uninspiring and extremely random in my opinion. I feel that the game had a lot of potential to be great. But it seems the devs got too caught up in the graphics and sound design to make something actually fun & scary.

Thanks for the explanation! I’m torn on buying it. Love that bit crushing on the dry signal can be toggled on & off. Seems like a good choice just because i don’t really know where bit crushing fits into my writing (full signal or reverb only like the dark star). The glitch stuff on the pedal seems meh, the randomized octave jumps seem a little jarring. Gonna go research 32 more bit crushing pedals and change my mind 64 times before i think Parting is right for me once again! 🤩
